I'd buy a Mark of the Ninja 2 if it just expanded a little on the different types of environments.

@Piperium: Ah. (Also thanks ) The 'finger in many pies' comment doesn't hold true across the industry with regards to producers, in my experience. Where I'm currently at producers mostly play the role of facilitators and scheduling coordinators, without any real creative input necessarily.

@Piperium: At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what does AP stand for? (I've been working in the industry for 6+ years and have no real idea what AP stands for, silly enough)

While reading through this I realized I didn't play all that much coop while I was a kid. Far more recently though, I've had great coop times with:

- Gears of War franchise, really enjoyed playing through the campaign and horde it up with some friends.

- Resident Evil 5, fantastic fun going through this with a friend several times.

- Portal 2, played through coop with quite a few people, both on PC and Xbox360.

- Borderlands, played through this several times with friends, and bested Crawmerax with friends as well.

- Splinter Cell Conviction, really great when things go horribly wrong and we're left scrambling for the shadows.

Probably a bunch more but those came to mind first.

The game's pacing is pretty poor. The whole 'get 3 of this' fetch quest structure gets over-used (making it feel artificially padded in places), and they don't breadcrumb the story/narrative regularly enough to keep you going. I've decided that it's best to enjoy this game for its strong points and turn my brain off for the rest.

Hey Patrick, it's this kind of stuff that makes me intensely love you being at GiantBomb. Awesome article.
