It's the Skatman!!

Hello, I am here for the fun of it. I would use the "other" website, but this one lets me curse and be reckless. So, I am here just to tell my thoughts and act a fool. I will probably only make blogs here once a week, starting with this week. Anywho I may as well post my about me here:

I am a Sony/Nintendo gamer. I own a Wii, PSP, DS, PS2, GC, and GBC.

The only current gen console game that I own is the Wii. I plan on buying a PS3 followed by a 360 once they both drop under $300. I am what you call a budget gamer. Not only because I am a college freshman and need to watch how I spend my money, but also because that's how gamings always been like for my whole life. I don't buy games that cost more than $30 (an exception would be games with online play and great reply value like Super Smash Brothers Brawl). Speaking of SSBB, if you want to exchange friend codes just give me a PM. But yea basically my favorite genres is the action adventure genre, though I enjoy a nice RPG or platformer here and there. I'm also willing to play a multiplayer fighter, shooter, or racer just for kicks. Personality-wise, I'm a joker. I think taking things seriously is overrated, although there is a limit. Making fun of others excessively is kinda overboard, but I'm all for acting crazy and making no sense! And I love the fact that we can curse on this site, allowing me to end this with a big, fat, juicy, delicious, mouth-watering, FUCK.

So yea, it's true I am almost off to college. The feeling is a mix of nervousness and excitement, it's hard to choose one to be exact. My career in mind is that of a Video Producer, my major being called "Art Video". I won't tell you what school I am going to, but I will let you know that it is within the top 50 universities in the US. Leaving high school was tough but college seems like it's going to be way better than High School ever was.

So lemme talk a bit about what I am playing. There are 5 games that I am trying to finish before I go off to college about 2 weeks. First off it's the oh so ever lasting Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which I am trying to unlock everything possible. I have all characters and stages and right now am just unlocking songs and shit like that. More specifically I am trying to unlock a song that requires me to have 50 hours in offline VS mode, and currently I only have 35 since I have spent most of my time playing online since the game's release date. Then there is Super Mario Galaxy, in which I have about 72 stars with Luigi. My goal in mind is to get all 121 just for the hell of it. I have been playing this game off and on for the last couple of months so I can't wait to see if I can actually get all the stars, it's my personal challenge. I know that it's not that hard, but the stupid purple coin collection missions are annoying as fuck and major turn offs when I'm playing, so for now I am saving them for last. I am also trying to play No More Heroes on Bitter mode, but in all honesty, it's just too damn hard for me. Everytime I try to make my way through "Destroyman" 's stage, I get killed by all of his minions. I blame the stupid ass guys that are constantly shooting you, they don't give me room to breathe! Another game is the legendary Ocarina of Time. I have played this game many times for years, but I never owned it myself so I was never able to beat it completely. Well now I have it on the Wii VC and I am definitely going to finish it. Finally there is Super Mario Brothers 3, an eternal classic. IMO the best Super Mario Brothers game. I am also playing it on VC...but one thing is for sure, the game is tough!!!

I am not really thinking about buying games soon but there are a few cool things that I bought recently. I bought a bunch of new clothes, the first bunch of clothes that I have bought in months, but who cares about that crap. I got a new, very smexy phone, the LG Voyager, I love it but my only complaint is that Verizon sucks ass. Tell me how I have unlimited texting, but supposedly that only counts with other people who have Verizon, and I only get 500 texts with those who dont have the same service, that includes when I text them AND they text me, what a rip. Anywho I also got 2 DVDs, Office Space and The Stewie Griffin family guy movie, both were great buys.

In terms of games I guess that I do have a couple I am looking at. 3 to be exact. Resident Evil 4 Wii is

a game I want, although I played it on the GC I don't have a copy of it anymore, and plus for $20 I can't go wrong! I also want to get Geometry Wars Galaxies for the Wii, since it seems like a different style of game that isn't meant to be taken seriously, and just played casually, which I don't mind at all. Finally there is Trauma Center Second Opinion, which I have seen getting good reviews everywhere and is only $20, plus I saw my bro playing it with his friend once so it looks interesting. I would have more games that I would get, but the Wii has a rather limited library. And then the games that I want are also still too expensive, so I am waiting for them to drop price.

One funny thing that has caught my eye is this whole FFXIII situation. First people are angry for it going to 360 too while others ask "why you angry about it!?". Well, now there is a reason to be ticked off I guess. The 360 version not being in development is going to delay the whole game altogether. It's funny because even if the PS3 version is 100% ready, it won't be released. That...my good friends...SUCKS.

So yea why am I calling myself Skatman? Well, to be recognizable to certain people, they know who

they are. Not only that, but because I like this username, it is probably my favorite username out of all of them. I have had this name for awhile in a certain place, but it was never really public. Dunno how long it will take for people to figure out who I really am. Won't take long, I bet.

So yea I hope that you know something about me if you didn't already.

And if you don't know much about me then...ask away. That's right, just ask anything and next blog (which will be next week), I will answer all your petty needs. Just don't get too crazy, and only 1 question per fool *cough*, I mean PERSON. So there, I am off to play some Brawl, so leave me comments and such. This took a very long time to write.
