@mems1224: Yeah gamepass seems like the way to enjoy this game, especially since it works on both Xbox one and PC.

As someone who has been playing off and on in the alpha since last summer.... this game has always felt like it should be free-to-play. Playing a few hours of the beta today confirmed that suspicion for me. The online co-op design makes it feel like you should be playing with friends, good luck convincing 3 of your friends to pay $60 for SOT, it just lacks depth and content. I Feel like it would get old after 6 hours judging by the size of the map, and the quests I've completed.

I picked up a sweet Giant Bomb Premium Membership....

Also Horizon and Watch_Dogs2.

I was watching the E3 Day One night show last night, and I really enjoyed the discussion between Arthur Gies and Jeff. I think having discussions about the changing industries (whether it be from the press side, or the development, or publishing sides) are really interesting. I would love to see more of this, discussions with veterans like Adam Sessler, or Andy McNamara from the press side of things, or even people like Jake Rodkin, or Dave Lang to provide context on the developer/publisher end. Anyone else interested in this sort of thing? Who would you like to hear from?

So it dawned on me today that Microsoft and Sony are in vastly different shape headed into E3. Microsoft has hardware to talk about with the Scorpio, but they have almost no announced games. Sony on the other hand almost has too many announced games coming from first party. I've compiled a list:

Microsoft's Announced Games

- Sea of Thieves (2017 or more likely 2018).

- Crackdown 3 (2017 - Scoprio launch?)

- State of Decay 2 (2017)

As far as I can tell that's the list. Forza Motorsport 7 is a likely bet... but outside of that? Halo 6? Gears 5?

Sony's Announced Games

- Uncharted Lost Legacy (8/22/17)

- Gran Turismo Sport (2017)

- Knack 2 (2017)

- Dreams (2017)

- Days Gone (???)

- Death Stranding (???)

So what do you guys think? Am I making a big deal out of nothing, or do you think Microsoft has a uphill battle ahead of E3?

Man, this game just feels incredibly mediocre. I'd rather play 30 more hours of the Division.

So I just got my Giantbomb Logo pint glass in the mail, and it's awesome. So awesome that I would love to get more of them. I was thinking it would be cool if maybe every 6 months or even once a year there was a new limited edition pint glass. Maybe take the persona-fied GB art, and release a limited edition glass for each member of the crew? I would love to have a Persona Drew pint glass is basically what I am getting at. Would anyone else be interested?

So I just figured I would pass along the information that if you are thinking about selling one of your consoles (PS4, XBO, or WiiU) now might be a good time to do it. Until tomorrow (12/9) gamestop will give you a $50 gift card in addition to the trade value of the console. I traded in my WiiU and managed to get $175 for it... which for a system that I haven't had plugged in for 6 months seems like a pretty decent deal. With the Switch coming out in March I highly doubt you will see a better return on the WiiU. I'm not a gamestop employee, and this isn't an ad. I just wanted to share a decent deal.

So I've looked around and I haven't found anything about whether or not the PC version will require a Gold account to play online. It would make sense either way, as PC games tend not to charge for online, but the game is also available on Xbox Live where they do require you to pay for gold. Has anyone heard or seen anything official from Playground/Turn10?
