A couple of days ago I recieved an unexpected gift in the mail...
Yes... I am the grand prize winner of the StarCraft 2 preorder contest GameStop was hosting way back when. It really took me by surprise considering I got no type of confirmation e-mail saying I won, and I don't even remember giving GameStop my updated address since I moved. It made me feel kind of bad since I only preordered the game to get in on the beta... which I never even bothered playing... and I cancelled my preorder (even though I wasn't supposed to) and transferred the credit to another game. I do plan on buying the regular version of the game... eventually. I honestly never was a big fan of the original StarCraft, or any other Blizzard games, to be honest... but now I feel obligated to buy it. This is probably now the most valuable addition to my collection, the only thing that competes with it is the autographed Devil Summoner lithograph I won from Atlus a few years ago. So, after all the years of paying retail price for games and getting mediocre customer service, GameStop finally pays me back. :)
