They're really hasn't been anything for me to blog about recently, which is why I pretty much haven't blogged in like 5 days. So I figured, since last night I was reading about comic books, why not blog about a particular incident that happened in 2006 with a Marvel comic book titled "Heroes for Hire". Heroes for Hire is a comic book by Marvel in which Tarantula, Black Cat , and Colleen Wing are drawn in the cover of the comic all chained up, and all helpless whille some tenacle monster drops white slime on Black Cat's breasts while some little aliens stare in what looks like a very sexual appetite manner.
Wher I'm tryin to get with this is the fact tha this sparked a contreversy in the comic book world. I'm not the kind of person that says "oh, little kids shouldn't play games rated M cuz they're too young" and other such realted crap. But in this case people had a reason to talk. The cover ws said to be very sexual for minors and very reminiscent of Japanese tentacle rape which is very popular in Japan.
Does this cover really spark a big deal? Not really. At least I don't seem to think so. But it's the fact that they added the little details of such as them being tied up in the presence of a tentace monster while it drips slime all over Black Cat's breast. If it were that they were all tied up and hopeless on front of a villain like Magneto or any other villain, it would've been a whole different story. Kind of makes you think what they're real intentions on what they want to take their comic books into. Which would be pretty cool.
