• SloppyDetective posted a message in the forum topic Which game have you been most disappointed by this year?. on the General Discussion board

Control, but I'm pretty sure it was the only 2019 game I played this year. I don't even hate the game but it was pretty hyped up by some of the staff and people around here. I found the writing to be...

Last of Us and Cyberpunk cuz I'm a basic bitch. You did get me thinking on the launch of the next gen and how it could be a very strong launch lineup due to competition being tight and the fact that ...

Yeah it's one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. I had never put in more than, lets say, 10 hours into a Zelda game before. I found them to hand-holdy, basic in there puzzles and systems, and th...

Super disappointing to hear, and the way he phrased how it could come back makes it sound like there's no guarantee that it would be the original team. It already sucked having the Important if True ...

@sethmode: Mario Maker (mistakenly typed Party) is the game he used the "I will play this forever" argument and then stopped playing it completely after a few months past that GOTY. I didn't mean to d...

I think the LAOU 2 has a better chance since Naughty Dog knows how to make a fun game and actually write dialogue and compelling characters.

@sethmode: uhhh what? Dan is king of hyperbole. "I will play this game forever!" Him arguing for Mario Maker. "This will be one of my GOTYs." Him leading up to RDR 2. Literally every time he talks abo...

@arcitee: I'm in the same boat on Death Stranding. Looks like an interesting thing but I won't bite until it's at least $30.

I still don't think that is that many. The past two years also seemingly had way more indie/smaller scale games than this year. I get wanting to provide an alternative perspective, but this really doe...
