About $14 for some simple shoes that will likely last me about another month or two, then I'll buy another pair until I eventually wear them down as well and so on.
I should just spend the extra money to buy a good pair of shoes that will last a few years, but I'm cheap when it comes to shoes.
It'll either be the PS4 or Xbone. I'll wait to see how each perform after release and probably go from there. If there's no real difference, then I may lean towards PS4 because I just put a bigger hard drive in there and I'm sure the Xbone will go the way of the 360 to me and become a Rock Band machine as I purchase more and more DLC for Rock Band 4 and any other potential sequels in the series.
Somewhere in the last three months, though I rarely pre-order games nowadays.
I asked for three games for my birthday and went ahead and put the minimum price on each and pre-ordered them to make it easier for someone to put money down on them.
The three games were One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, Tearaway: Unfolded and the Disco Fever edition of Persona 4: Dancing All Night.
Man, what a ride this was. The second finale of an episodic adventure series to come out today, and it's all come to this. Quite a few different ways one part of this episode could go depending on some of your choices up to this point for sure. Were you satisfied with your options when it came to building a team, and who did you choose to fight the final battle with you? How about the reveal of the stranger who's interrogated you throughout the series, did you figure it out or were you way off base?
First, here's my choices:
For the team building part, I actually had every option available to me except for the Vault Hunters that you could pay to join you, which surprised me a bit. I was fairly conservative with my money outside of purchasing the outfits for the Helios trip. Ultimately, I chose Zer0, Athena and Janey (speaking of, the dialogue between Athena and Janey is pretty great) for my team, and I'll likely play through this episode again to see how some of the other interactions work out. I would imagine the dialogue between Fenix, Fiona and Sasha would be pretty good, and may provide some closure to that whole ordeal.
I wondered about the Stranger's identity for a while, and at one point thought it might have been Loader Bot, but I think that was pretty low on my list of suspects. It was also pretty touching why he brought everyone together, after he learned the truth as to what he perceived as a betrayal.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around a few things with the episode now, but I really enjoyed it, as well as the series as a whole. I wonder if there will be another season for this further down the road or is this it until Borderlands 3? It did end on a bit of a cliffhanger, but at the same time I felt everything wrapped up rather nicely. I do hope we at least see a few cameos in future games, but I had a fun ride with everyone here. Definitely a contender for GOTY for me now.
@gtoor14: I love it, and think it's probably worth your time. If you want a taste, the first episode of the series is free right now on pretty much everything so there's no monetary commitment if you want to dip your toe before putting down money for the full season.
Trying out the new guitar and all I can think of is "Man, I really wish the Xplorer from the 360 version of Guitar Hero II was compatible..." I'm so used to using it now that using any other guitar just doesn't feel right to me.
Had to cancel my band in a box set because I just couldn't afford it right now and opted for the $80 Xbone set with the adapter. Ordered it on September 14 and Amazon doesn't even have a delivery estimate for me right now so it's all up in the air on when I may even get the game.
@cmblasko: According to the instrument compatibility list, it seems if you have an ion drum kit for the PS3, it will work on the PS4, but the 360 version will not work on the Xbox One. I'm not entirely sure about the cymbals and double bass though.
