Damn it, I swear, I can't wait to get out of this province some days. And in this case, I have twelve more days till I leave. Not terribly happy about how deep the division is between the English and the French, and unfortunately I'm not so surprised someone would do something like this at some point.

@Deusx said:

I´ve always liked your "worth reading" section but this is horrible. A video game about a meme, more talk about tropes in video games, shitty scary games coverage, and an Escapist (worst site ever created) video. What the fuck man, this isn´t reddit, stop covering every piece of shit you find on the internet.

I´m sorry I get mad at this but man... It´s like you spend your whole day on reddit and just pull out the stuff you find funny or mildly interesting. I know everyone will bitch at me for this but I don´t care, this isn´t why I visit Giant Bomb. I just wanted to voice my opinion. End of rine.

You make this too easy... hmm... too easy, no I'm better than that. No I'm not. Dude, the entire point of "Worth Reading" is literally about Klepek finding stuff he considers interesting. Whether it be articles about soldiers and mercs in real life being compared to their videogame counterpart, or a flash game he considers thoughtful or well made or whatever. This is exactly the kind of stuff he's been suggesting you to look at since the start of this feature. The fact that you are getting mad at him suggesting reading material that might challenge your brain tells me that you're a fu...

Aha, almost went all the way there. Seriously dude, you never even gave a reason for your butthurt outside of "I hate this *pout*".

A whole series of post mortem interviews with former Looking Glass Studios? You mean the ones that I really in retrospective should have posted on the forums but didn't because I feel as though a contribution of that stature would be way in over my head so I just kept the reference to it in a simple blog post? Hmm, perhaps I should have probably sent one of you guys the links to them. Oh well!

Well it's certainly a problem, but I do wish that Fat Acceptance people would permanently change their name to Body Image Acceptance, and would also stop saying dieting and exercising doesn't work. Seriously, just say it's your choice to have the weight you chose to have, you have the right to love the way you look no matter how you look, and it's all up to personal taste. There, done. Justification unnecessary, applies to everyone. Even those who are in a tougher position than others, and I should really start taking my own advice.

Seems like a tricky situation I would never want to get into, and I'm quite partial to support roles. I mean in League, of course. Or a fancy bit of ad carrying, I can vary from ridiculously good to absolutely horrid. Anyone know what the deal is with the servers now?

@Dallas_Raines: That first dude has some hairy legs, and that third dude has got some lacy weird thing going on around his pelvis area... I'll be in my bunk.

@SpawnMan: A nice speech, but the article is less about the "in defence of women" and more about the "why are we taking part in something that takes away from the blahblahblah". Game conventions shouldn't be like auto shows, god knows those things are special in many ways. I mean, gaming isn't just for guys (unlike cars... not sure exactly how male oriented cars are but whatever shh), and if there's one thing that Americans are more afraid of than female sexuality, it's male sexuality being expressed. Honestly, at the end of the day, what I want is half of the booth babes to be removed, and replaced by some male models. Because why the hell not? Just think of it, very attractive men wearing very revealing clothing...

I'll be in my bunk.

@ProperKROE: Oh absolutely men get the short end of the stick when it comes to coverage of sexism in games, but again, the example you bring up is fanart. Noncanonical and judging by the actual measurements of the torso, anatomically inaccurate in places. Honestly, I can't think of that many examples of terribly sexist examples en masse that are constantly used in videogames. Outside of perfectly chiselled men that add to my already existing body image disorders.
