My Own Personal Endurance Run.

I’m a pretty big fan of the site, if I ever get some free time, I’ll usually hit up GB to see what’s happening, one of my favourite parts of the site however, is the Bombcast, two hours of my week is taken up by some of the funniest (and more often than not) pointless conversations to be heard and I couldn’t be happier.

So about 3 weeks ago after listening to the latest Bombcast I realised I didn’t want to wait for the new episode, I got to thinking about the classic arrow pointing down podcasts and felt the need to listen to the first episode.

Since then I’ve been listening to the old episodes nonstop. If I get a free moment in my day I’m listening to the Bombcast, so far I’m up to 07-07-09 and I’m hoping to be completely up to date again before the year is out.

So let’s break it down a bit.

In 3 weeks I have listened to 97 Bombcasts back to back, with a total running time of 6 Days, 19 Hours 19 Minutes and 26 Seconds.

That is essentially an entire week of time.

Overall however, I’d say it’s been a laugh... listening to older bombcasts is enjoyable for a different reason than it was the first time around, especially when it comes to hearing predications that are either spookily spot on, or way off the mark.

I obviously prefer listening to the new ones, but I sometimes listen to old ones when I'm playing something on my PS3 or DS.

Hehe nice!

I often go back and listen to the older ones and I definitely agree with the fact they're enjoyable in a different way due to the crazy predictions and such.

Some of my friends think I have a problem as I tend to listen to new bombcasts 3 or 4 times in the span of a day or two. But it's because I listen while I'm doing other stuff so I miss hearing a ton of stuff!

You're plight sounds both interesting, tedious and ear-breakingly irritating. I love the podcast but I dunno if I could listen to it back-to-back. I quite like the 6-day break.

I'm not sure I could do it, but I'm sure some of the very old podcasts are actually kinda awesome to listen back to.

That's nothing. If you want to get really hardcore you can occasionally listen to old Hotspot episodes like I do and listen to Jeff ranting about how it doesn't matter that Street Fighter IV was announced and how HAZE IS THE SHIT?!?!?

I love listening to the old ones while saddling down with a video game. Which doesn't happen very often, but is still extremely enjoyable none-the-less.

I completed this particular Endurance Run... haha.  Except for the Eve, Ed Boon and Ghostbusters podcasts, I've listened to every episode 2 or more times... the first Jared Rea hey-guys-I'm-Halo one being the most listened to.   I think I might still be one of the top listeners on Last.FM.

Edit: Actually, the GI Joe episode is now my most listened to podcast.

Well i pretty much do the same, i listen to old episodes usually every morning while im getting ready for school.
It does take me a few days to get through most of them, as i like saving it for mornings or any other boring times.
