Hey gang,
I bought this TV I'm using now about a year ago. Infact, I just looked, I've had it almost 2 years. I've really liked it for the most part, but I've recently had a few issues with it, notably just starting when I built my new PC and hooked it up.
See, the PC is a 1080p desktop. So naturally, you'd expect the resolution to be 1920x1080 right?
Wrong.
When I hooked my TV up to serve as my main PC monitor (until I can afford a new dedicated PC monitor), I set the natural resolution to 1920x1080. Unfortunately, it cut the edges of the screen off both the top and the bottom of the screen. I had to use the NVIDIA CP to manually shrink the screen. I'm now running the desktop at 1842x1036.
Is there any reason this happens? I just started playing "A Hat in Time", and the only default resolution is the exact 1920x1080. When I started the game in that mode, it cut off parts of the screen. I'll attach a picture. Apologies I had to do a phone shot of the screen, but it's the only way to show it.

As you can see, it cuts the side of where it should say "Start Act" and "Exit"
I had to go into a hidden .INI file, change the resolution to my desktops, then save it as read only, so it couldn't be altered on boot.
Bizarre
Is this gonna be a problem I continue to see as I carry on PC gaming? Am I doing something wrong?
If you have any ideas, I'm all ears.
Thanks!
