The Japanese PS4 PSN store is no longer up and online, I would have edited my thread in the PS4 forum to say. Fun while it lasted.

I'll be REALLY happy if they meet the $600 mark. I still have this feeling that PS VR will come with an external box, since I'm sceptical that a PS4 can output 1080p at 120Hz and do all the heavy lifting for head-tracking and so on at the same time.

The external box is confirmed but it doesn't provide a performance boost. It handles wrapping and unwrapping of the view, splits to TV and headgear, and positional audio.

Suddenly I'd be happy if they met the $500 mark..

As much as I paid for the PS4 back in November 2013. Sony's not going to bullshit us like Oculus/FB did with the OR pricing. I can see as low as $300 becoming the end price for the headset only package depending on market reaction to their financial report on the 29th, Sony are ready willing and also able to eat the price.

Interesting? Do you really think Oculus is bullshitting? I have not heard many people saying that, I actually believe this tech, manufacturing/distribution is costing $600. But, I respect you view that they could be inflating costs and part sourcing.

When it comes to Oculus pricing to outside of the US they are definitely bullshitting. for one example Australian customers have to pay an insane amount of shipping (as detailed in customer support exchanges) but those devices get shipped out from Australia..? For $140 AUS you can ship a cow across the length of the continent. Then there are seriously sketchy things about European pricing even if we take the import tax addition for granted, but they're still selling these babies at a loss even at $599 US continental?

For the last two console generations Nintendo hardware has gone beyond the 1:1 / 1:10 conversions to various European currencies while Microsoft and Sony have had their heads on their shoulders about it. Even in times of wobbly currency balances they've stuck to it, it's just that stores ignore the RRP on peripherals and games, the PS4 camera was meant to be a tenner cheaper in Europe since we got it without the separate stand, but instead the stores want more than the cost of an already overpriced beyond all reason and taxation in Sweden game.

And then there's the election of 2014 ruining the country so badly the dollar went from 7.X to 9.High in under six months of the dumbest governnent-level drama. I'm ready and willing to pay 4000 SEK, the price the PS4 was converted to. Sony would be doing a Sony to ask for more.

(Tthere are those cool plastic + glass sets for various phones now, adjustable lenses and respectable quality upwards of $40 $50 and I should get one to replace my Google Cardboard. My old mother loves the rollercoaster stuff and VR videos. Would have GearVR if I had a compliant phone because wireless VR is needed to advance the tech step away from standing/sitting,)

When it's time to run live or not material on VR be it Rift Vive or PSVR, that they offer an alternate video feed of the viewport, so that us tech pioneers with CardboardVR or better can watch and see what they see. It won't be so nice given framerates and bitrates but it works, I've tried it with an OR feed.

Use a case with a magnetic snap-lock cover and protect 360 degrees of the phone, attach a cellphone-charm, strap or long detail that you can hold onto, taking this simple care, these insurances, my phones last without any visual harm until the day the battery gives up and I find there's no way to get an authentic reliable new battery.

Of course, despite this my 2012 phone has taken fall damage that has offset the rear camera filters, gotta whack it back into position sometimes. I plan to get a Galaxy S7 for the sake of GearVR, I figure four years with my current one deserves a little reward.

You strapless caseless coverless types are begging for a broken $500-$700 RRP device.

I'm deep into soulsgame communities and the ones I talk with, we don't care how you play it, we don't care how streamers play it.

This =
This = "lol go wild that looks awesome"

It's just that we'll come with suggestions when someone keeps smashing their head into a brick wall wondering why their head hurts more and more when they have a perfectly fine sledgehammer in the inventory.

Be more like us. Chill.

When the framerate or framedrops get so bad it affects controls and ruins me in games, that's unplayable. GTA5 PS3 was not unplayable, because apparently both drive and HD were healthy enough to keep it running fine, even online, until late November 2013 when geometry began chugging in online together with seconds long pauses in everything.

Or when it's a Bethesda game.

The thread should be "most recent game I bought that has a great original soundtrack: Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God" because games are shaping up on that side of things. Sorcery Saga's like perfect voice-acting, it's so suitable and right that you don't notice it, it becomes natural. And then you spawn a Monster Room. And then you meet This Character, That Character, TheOtherCharacter.

I cannot remember the last time I bought a game with a soundtrack I actively disliked, or even didn't care for.

I'd like to pick up and play The Witcher 3 after all those awards, like I've been telling myself for months but I'm not losing any sleep over not having time or feel for it. I'd like to do the final dungeon in Sorcery Saga and finish it, learn the story, but I don't feel like it and not a curry given. I'd like to play Yakuza 5 since it's finally out in English but I feel more interested in other games. I'd like to get started in Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen but I'd rather begin with spring cleaning early on. I haven't finished the 2008 Valkyria Chronicles but I'm on the last batch of missions, some day I guess!

I don't have a backlog. I don't have an increasingly pressing sense of anxiety slowly turning into a mental disorder about games going unfinished or unplayed.

What I have is a batch of old games to pick up and play when I decide the time is right, and so do you.
