The Japanese PS4 PSN store is no longer up and online, I would have edited my thread in the PS4 forum to say. Fun while it lasted.

Project Diva games with songs and videos that I like. Songs that make me feel a bunch mainly in f. It's like a very good drug, if I'd ever have to get tears pouring out I'd fire up Time Machine when I feel vulnerable and down.

It's clear to me from the last years; Don't pre-order games that are made in the west.

Broken Age kind of defines Double Fine over the last six or seven years - some eat concepts, some amazing work, but super thin gameplay that just doesn't hold me. I guess I'll probably finish it on PS4 though. Gotta get them trophies.

Was thinking the same about Broken Age and trophies, with a guide and letting story play out it should be a little over ten hours http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/broken-age/265901-broken-age-trophy-guide-roadmap.html

The game in general I wanted to wait with until it was released in full, but all the review and player impressions of how it lost it put me off of that. At least it'll be a nice way to help me kill time over October, every day ticking closer to Yakuza 5, No Man's Sky, The Tomorrow Children, etc.

This is why I'm campaigning for GB to QL some of the bad Japanese (PS4) games that companies can't help but localize.

There's not really much to show of the game though. It's just like the Miku games only with a story that's mostly static screens and voice over.

I did enjoy my time with it, but after I got the platinum I haven't gone back to it (mainly because of my backlog of games, and MGSV).

As a person who imported and loved Diva F, skipped F2 because no songs felt "right", then stood up and cheered as Future Tone PS4 was announced together with Project Diva X, I hope to see what the buzz with Dancing All Night is about after seeing it score so highly in reviews (with text that state that it's an okay game and the reviewer is a Persona fan and 9/10 whammo..)

Posting to confirm it's Playstation TV compatible, and those units have been going out for $35 sale since newyears. No excuse to not get it done.

I'm okay not being presented every last thing of everybody from PW and where they went, perfectly okay with ThatOneDoctor being handled offscreen, because it's not important, and tapes handled their fates more than well enough. But for the two things it gets right: Skullface got shit for introduction and ended like shit, even after going over every tape and bit of material that was pretty poor. Skullface is like he was meant to have been handled better in the story, we got to know him through GZ as a creepy messed up weirdo with a rough background, influence and power to pull shit, and he died the way he lived, poorly and unsatisfactory. Then the Eli business sounds like it was meant to have been handled differently from the way it was, if mission 51 had been implemented and finished I wouldn't have been satisfied. I feel they scrapped 51 to save time and money because it sucked and went nowhere. He's left in the jungle one way or another, ends up in the UK, Salo rots away, I know where it went, I got the post-game text, I'm cool with it-

Towards the end the writer sounds like a typical neogaf poster about the game and its twist, taking its "it's not a Metal Gear game" personally enough to think it's a shit title for lacking cutscenes every other minute like so many do.

(Personally, MGSVTPP 5/5, runner-up GOTY behind BB, still miss cutscenes and codecs.)

Whatever happens when you run out of license-time for weapon names and models? Have any games?

Warhammer license expires = gotta kill the product 100%

After Burner Climax plane licenses expire = Lucky to be allowed to let existing owners continue downloading that great game

Marvel license expires after what seems half a year = lol

Went through the guidebook for sideops that could be featured or otherwise are super-handy and came up with:

  • Interpreters - 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Bear - 48
  • Opening up two fun sets of tools - 49, 50 (after mission 31)
  • Wandering MB soldiers - 51-60, at least one just for the encounter
  • AV units - 93-106, just for the encounter, at least one
  • Gunsmith - 107-109, essential for weapon customizaton (available when Africa opens up, needs time passing and ACC visits between)
  • Intel agent extraction 112, worth doing
  • Essential or not - 113
  • See AV units - 114-126
  • Real ending essentials - 143-149 (+150)

Windows of opportunity for critical cutscenes or missions appearing without warning:

  • Engaging mission 21
  • After mission 26 and 2/4 R&D platforms
  • After mission 35 and at least one additional mission (including replay) or sideop
  • After mission 41
  • After mission 43
  • And many more if we're counting radio-calls and landings during the right circumstances

Passing enough time to reset something, open an NPC up for communications again or trigger a mission:

  • Sometimes 18+ hours of Phantom cigar is enough
  • Playing at least one mission (replay OK) or sideop, sometimes up to five later on and visit the ACC
  • Listen to all the yellow tapes
