Shaky First Steps

So... about that addition to the spawn camping page...

I went to do it, and Metal Gear Online didn't exist as a separate game in their database, so I went and proposed it. I hopped around to a bunch of different wikis, making a few edits. Now, it's just a matter of waiting until they're submitted.

Of course, GiantBomb's moderators are horribly backed up with submissions, so those edits I made yesterday still aren't up. That's pretty disappointing. I don't plan on adding any more stuff until what I have now gets approved. It'll take a while for them to thin the backlog, but I suspect eventually, there won't be as much editing going on.

The forums are kinda disappointing. The format isn't very good, and I'm not sure how I feel about the community at the moment. We'll see.

All of these things take time. No site launches perfectly, especially something as ambitious as this. I look forward to seeing how things evolve, how the layout changes, and how the community adapts. I think this could really be someplace great.

My First Blog

My first day at Giant Bomb. Oh boy!

This site seems really slick, and it has a lot of interesting functions. Almost like a social network for gamers or something. It'll be interesting to see how things expand here, and I look forward to using it more for all sorts of fun things.

Looks like a good portion of GUFU is relocating here, at least for the time being, so we'll see how things pan out there.

I'm done with MGS4, and now I'm beginning to feel like I need another game, now that I've completed it twice. It's really great, but few games can get me to play through them three times. MGS4 might be able to, but I'd rather not, at the moment. Perhaps it's time for GTA4? Or should I spend some more time with Phantom Dust? Decisions.

Now, onto my first order of business, which is to add "Metal Gear Online" to the "Spawn Camping" page. Wish me luck!
