@cmblasko: @dan_citi: The console was rumored for the longest to be only $250, so they're asking if the actual $300 price tag (hence $50) is too much for you to buy the Switch.

As for me, yes, the $300 price is too high for me right now. And especially with the Mario game not coming out until Holiday, I'll likely just wait until Black Friday to pick up a Switch.

If it's $250 I'm totally in. $300 bundle would be fine, too, but anything more than that and I'm out.

@sarge__gunnerz: I totally just noticed this was specifically a question about the Beastcast. Every episode is worth listening to. They all have Vinny! And you can't get enough Vinny!

I enjoyed the first episode a lot! It introduces a good group of characters and story, even if it explores some well-worn territory at this point. Episode 1 + 2 were released the same day, but I haven't been able to check out episode 2 yet.

I also have to say that this is perhaps the best that any Telltale game has ever performed for me. Very little stuttering.

Villeneuve hasn't done me wrong yet (between Prisoners, Enemy, Sicario, and Arrival), so I'm 100% on board with this. Also love Ryan Gosling so yeah.

BUT DID ANYONE SEE THAT NEW JOHN WICK 2 TRAILER!!!

Enter The Gungeon was incredible. I should probably go back to that at some point, seeing as how I never finished it.

I left town. It seemed like the choice Lincoln would actually make. He finished what Sal had started, and his entire family was dead in that city. There was no reason for him to stay.

Man, I forgot how much I enjoyed this game. It's rough around the edges and has too much side content that's forced, but when it's good, it's really good.

These are mine, in order.

  1. Anderson Paak - Malibu

  2. Beyonce - Lemonade

  3. Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial

  4. Whitney - Light Upon The Lake

  5. NxWorries - Yes Lawd!

  6. Local Natives - Sunlit Youth

  7. Mitski - Puberty 2

  8. American Wrestlers - Goodbye Terrible Youth

  9. Kaytranada - 99.9%

  10. The Radio Dept. - Running Out of Love

It's been obvious that Malibu would top my list since I heard it in April. Love that record so much.

As a whole, there were some really phenomenal albums this year, and also a lot of great ones. And who knows, that Childish Gambino record drops tonight, and seeing as how much I love the two singles already released from it, that could end up on this list too.

Oh, and special honorary mention to the best EP this year: Emotion Side B by Carly Rae Jepsen
