Soulless

The beginning is definitely not not as fascinating as the first game's, but I still think the games story is good throughout.  The story really picks up steam towards the end, and I just adore the ending.  I think you'll like it, especially since you seem to really love the first one.  (Which I did as well)
 
Plus, the game play is sooooo much better.

What happened is Delta clutchs to the out side of the Submarine owned by Sinclair that Sofia was hiding in, and that Eleanor and you where hijacking with the little sisters. When you get to the surface Delta is dying and either, Eleanor drains your ADAM to preserve your memories in here, remember the reporter guy ADAM holds the memories of the owner so she basically assumes all your morality and such.

I just kind of wish they got their hands on the futuristic weapons.  The only compelling thing about that game to me was killing significantly less armed soldiers with insanely powerful weaponry.

Mass Effect.  The story and the missions were boring to me.

In RE5, trying to get an A on the mine level in the mercenaries mode drove me to punch my TV  because that stupid bug creature always kept grabbing me and killing me instantly.  (It's an old one, so it's a little sturdier)  I still hate those fucking bugs.

My guess is that Gears will end once they run out of Carmines.

They said this one will offer 5 campaigns.   That's really not much more.

The very end of Peter Jackson's King Kong.

The sadness in Kong's face as he's dying and is slowly slipping off of the tower really hit me somewhere.  I teared up, and that's the only time that's ever happened since I was a small child.

Yeah they do.  It's pretty tough to play now though, since everyone knows all of the tricks.
