I would have enjoyed a different setting solely for new types of architecture and scenery. Not to complain about the previous locations, but a Japanese castle would be fun to climb around.
The main event in the Revelations trailer is the defeat and impending execution of Ezio. Now when you think about this logically, it's obvious they wouldn't just force defeat and death upon either the beloved Ezio or the player. But, they clearly play with your feelings by having Ezio walk to point you know to be a leap of faith, made especially clear by the hawk, only to place a noose around his neck. So whats the flaw? The last point in Ezio's memory would the moment his last child was conceived, thereby making a big dramatic death at the end of the game impossible.
Now I don't mean to be nit-picky and overly analytic, but trailers are meant to excite you with possibility. And, this just kind of breaks it for me and makes the whole thing feel hollow.
