While I'm still excited for this game, unlike most of the game's press that have seemingly agreed to collectively write this game off, I must admit I'm starting to get a little irked by EA's handling of TOR's launch. I've downloaded Origin and it seems to be a fully competent digital games service, but the recent announcement of "limited server-rollouts" at launch is upsetting. Coupled with the previous pre-order announcement that earlier pre-order customer's will get access to servers first, EA and Bioware are pretty much forcing you to pre-order if you want to play on day-one. Which, we should remember STILL hasn't been announced. I don't want to come off as some whiny, ethically high-minded fanboy, but I hate the idea that I could buy this game at launch and not be able to play it. I really just need to get over it and pre-order the game already, but I at least need an announced launch date.

I checked the southern Wal-Mart in Terre Haute, IN to see if the price drop was for real. The electronics department had just changed the stickers and had three of each color in stock. But as I stood there, with cash in hand, I could not bring myself to purchase the system. It's certainly a great deal and I wouldn't begrudge anyone from taking advantage of it. Dutiful consumer as I am, I'm still contemplating a return visit and purchase. But as it stands there are no games I really want to play on the 3DS and the winter lineup does little to excite me. My Mario Kart boner was forever doused upon by the icy cold contents of Mario Kart Wii and even the new Mario Bros. looks about as "workman like" as a first party Nintendo game can be. As for the 20 free games, or the primary reason for my possible purchase, I do for some reason want them but I already own the majority multiple times over. Finally, I thought of how, as this new handheld sat unused I will be playing Batman, Skyrim and Uncharted, all of which will be coming out within the space of three weeks and could be bought with this impulsive 3DS money.

So once again, its a great deal, one I might for some indefensible reason act on. But as of this morning I have resisted temptation.

Another fantastic Blur trailer that further proves this game's potential story hooks while never actually showing gameplay. Really upset there wasn't a release date announcement among all of Bioware's E3 announcements.

This trailer was a huge disappointment. I'm still pumped about the game, but after being strung along one E3 after the next I expected a hell of a a lot more than a pre-rendered trailer that just strung together bits of the two previous trailers and STILL didn't give a release date. On top of this is the fact that you'll only be able to buy a digital copy of TOR through Origin. Thanks for limiting consumer options while STILL not giving us the one thing we want, Bioware.

So I just bought the last 17 oz. Zojirushi Clear Stainless Mug in stock on Amazon. Customers who bought this item also bought: Mortal Kombat, Portal 2 and You Don't Know Jack. Anyone think that Amazon or Zojirushi have noticed this phenomena?

Would just like to say that Klepek has been doing an amazing job with these news stories. He's a fantastic addition to GiantBomb!

Yeah, the game started working today. But me, being the infinite screw up I am with computers, did not input the CD Key when prompted. It hasn't stopped me from playing the game, and I did write the key down, but does anyone know how to bring up the key login manually. Also, while my PC is less than two years old and just ran Dragon Age 2 on medium with no issues, The Witcher is chugging along at less than 30 fps. I've turned the settings down to low, anything else I can do?

I bought The Witcher: Enhanced Edition on Steam. But when I attempt to launch the game I get a Steam Error that says "Failed connection to Key Server." Anyone know what this is about, and/or how to fix it?

Yeah, I feel like a dumbass. You hit Square. I started a freaking help thread before I even explored the face buttons. I am a douche.
