Enjoying it maybe more than I expected. Making levels is fun, even if I don't expect many people to play them. It's interesting to see so many people share designs - I wish they at least QR coded level sharing. Facing the gampad at a monitor would be dumb but it'd speed it up.

Playing Normal 100-Mario challenge can kick in some fatigue (hopefully levels get ironed out). I assume a lot of it is people bombarding with loads of levels/not having everything unlocked. Hopefully they get some Miiverse level of curation going on.

Every time I feel a bit fed up, I'll put it down and come back to it and be surprised. I've even started to enjoy some New Super Mario Bros levels after playing through the NWC levels.

Bit surprised there isn't any form of ranking/leaderboards on levels. It'd give me some incentive to play through those terrible levels that can appear.

Gonna try out more of these tomorrow! Ran through @jeff's levels just now, that fish one is tricky.

Ended up making a ghost level after giving up on some shoddy Zelda-music levels I made :D

I made a Metal Gear level. The only thing actually Metal Gear about it is the music. But hey, figured I'd give music stuff a shot to see how it's done.

@lunnington: Haha, timing on Phil Collins kicking in is perfect!

I've made a few videos so far:

It's a shame text placement and audio placement isn't a bit more robust. Finicky to play with without a proper video preview. It's weird how you can only reduce a radio track to 30 seconds minimum, whilst a soundtrack piece can be any length of time. I guess that's some licensing stuff for youtube.

Hope someone makes a mod to increase the camera boundary. I can understand the limitations only keeping track of local objects but further shots would be fun to do!

@yummylee: Now that I've played some games with randomers, I agree. I hope it's just due to it being the 3DS, I don't remember Brawl being this bad (hopefully all is OK with Wii U version).

@yummylee: Purchase trophies/play trophy rush mode.

Played a bunch of online with a friend just now. Didn't run in to any lag issues. Noticed a fair bit of input lag at times though.

The new assist trophies are great, especially Namco themed ones :D

Hm, I'm assuming all the stages that appear on the Wii U one have a static background on the 3DS. They don't look so great, whilst the ones with fully rendered 3D backgrounds look really good (guessing these are 3DS exclusive ones).

Unlockable character spoiler:

Duck Hunt duo are awesome! throwing out explosives and tapping special to detonate/extend their reach is ace.

@yummylee: Ah, you're right. I've not tried online yet, hopefully turns out OK tomorrow when more people have it.

Did the coins from the demo transfer for you btw?

I want the Wii U version more now that I've spent a few hours with it. Hand cramps and resolution are my main problems but it's to be expected I guess.

Greninja is my favourite of the new characters so far.

Ike's been in since Melee I think? his charged special has always been bananas, Robin seems to have an even more insane charged special (although its limited).
