This keeps popping up in my twitter feed. It would appear that even the Xbox team can't keep the original xbox straight with the xbox one.

This happens every major console generation launch by people who are starving for attention. The ease of putting videos online and getting money for them only makes this less surprising. Like with many other things, the only thing surprising about this is that some people are actually still surprised by the same behavior being repeated. Maybe I'm just getting old. This also appears to just be the person who made the video trying to get more views for it by posting it on video game website forums.

I feel like true art represents the artist. If you like the art but don't like the artist maybe there is something else you should be looking at about yourself. If you really don't like the artist then you probably wont be a fan of their art either. Boycotting isn't necessary to not consume/purchase/appreciate art if you already don't like it.

I bought a 3DS a few months ago as the first handheld system I've ever owned. I can honestly say it's been a great investment. With new games only at $40 in the U.S. I don't hesitate as much to buy the games I want. It's a fantastic system and has more than enough great games to justify it. I highly recommend getting a 32 gig SD card if you plan on buying any of your games digitally though.

The rift has made spookin with scoops the show we all wanted it to be in the first place. I myself will not be playing any horror games on it. Scary movies and games don't scare me at all but I have a feeling being so immersed into it would possibly scare me and I'm just not interested in that. It's a lot of fun to watch Patrick do it to himself though.

Did they ever fix the way traffic works? I know they kind of cheated it at some point to make it less terrible, but it was still terrible last time I played. That essentially ruined the game for me more than anything. A city simulator without well simulated people pathing is a bad simulator in my opinion.

As someone who listens to a lot of podcasts at work the only bad things about ads on them is either when they break right in the middle of a thought to place an ad like on the Adam Carolla Show or when they spend 20-30 minutes just doing ads in the middle of the show. I don't mind listening to an ad like the one they had on this podcast because it got to the point and it seemed like there was genuine discussion about it. However when ads go on and on and i have to stop what I'm doing to skip past them it gets really annoying. The other thing that can be annoying is that as someone who listens to a lot of podcasts you realize just how few companies are willing to advertise on podcasts and you end up hearing the same ads over a spread of different podcasts. That isn't really something Jeff or whoever sets up the advertising on the show can change though. Jeff's metal DJ announcer delivery is entertaining to listen to even if what he's saying isn't interesting to me. I can only assume that's only true as long as it doesn't go on for very long though. If the method they used on this weeks podcast is the method Jeff plans on using from here on out I'm all for it. If at any point there is an ad for something that is relevant to me I'd probably support them through it as well but that's almost never the case with the same ads I hear all of the time already.
