@kiddomac: same issue here. There was another thread on the forums for this issue. If you open a new tab and close it, the “video loading” should actually start loading.

Hey guys. Is anyone still having this issue? I got a new iPad today running a fresh install of iOS 12.1 (no backup restore) and this is happening. The “open a new tab and close” trick works though.

PC for me. For some reason, my brain thinks I'll have more luck finding random people to link up with on the PC rather than the Xbox or PS4. That was always my biggest gripe with destiny on the Xbox; I could never find like minded people to link up with. Time will tell I guess..
