I can't contribute much to the conversation about hte games you've been playing except to nod at Edith Finch, one of my all-time favorites. The way that game melds storytelling with certain brief gamified moments and its bittersweet, brutally sad stories hit me hard.

Great write-up. I love the game and its crazy story. The mini-games are super frustrating but there's so much to love here, and that ending is my favorite in the series.

Rorie is the glue of this site in so many ways, and he's just as cool and decent a human being behind the scenes. Wishing you all the pups.

I spent a lot of time with those Tiny Toons games. They were pretty great for what they were, but I'm also remembering them through thirty years of nostalgia.
