  • It's grueling, it's punishing, it's unyielding in its relentlessness but its also one of the most exhilarating and rewarding experiences in years. Demon's Souls not only looks back at age-old concepts but also brings them to the new generation. Not only is it challenging, but it's also incredibly innovative with a definite online experience unlike any RPG of its kind.

  • Left 4 Dead 2 improves upon everything that the original Left 4 Dead did and adds new modes, a longer campaign, and greater polish. This is the definite Left 4 Dead game, no question. Many would consider this what the original SHOULD have been in the first place, but even for those who've played hours upon hours of the original, Left 4 Dead 2 is still a worthy buy. And c'mon, it's got ZOMBIES . . . 'nuff said.

  • Nothing describes a complete package quite as well as Forza 3 does. Tons of cars, tons of customization options, and overall well-execute driving gameplay makes it the definite driving game of 2009. No other games comes close in terms of the complete driving experience.

  • Though many would call Halo 3 ODST an essentially a re-tuned version of Halo 3, that by no means is a bad thing. Not only does ODST improve upon Halo 3 in almost every way, it also feels different enough that it elicits a new type of joy, while conjuring up fond memories of its predecessor. The campaign, while short, is intelligently crafted and filled with exhilarating moments; the new Firefight mode is one of the most addictive coop modes ever created. For Halo fans this is a must buy, and for shooter fans its still a worthwhile purchase.
