This post is purely to say Thank You to @humanity for the pictures of their FO2 manual. I have never had the pleasure of seeing it and wow, that looks like an incredible manual.

And to add on to the love of manuals, have you seen the Flotilla 2 manual? <3 Blendo Games.

Most of what I have heard about the news of the Amico comes second hand from the Completely Unnecessary podcast (Pat Contri and Ian Ferguson, retro knowledgeable blokes) and what bigsocrates said is an echo to what they talk about whenever the Amico comes up. It's right next to the Atari VCS.

The question I would ask: Why exactly do you think you need to buy it?
And if you want to throw money out to get an Intellivision... Ebay. $130 for the console and 13 games. And that's just the top result from a Google shopping list.

Or get yourself a MiSTer FPGA like Jeff or Brad has done if the purpose is to just play those games.

Open Shift + Key binding

From the BBI Devs:

• Players’ shifts NEVER end unless they enter the HAB.
• The timer at the top will count up instead of down for Players to keep personal track of their playtime.
• Players’ O2 will not drain, unless the helmet has been cracked.
• It will have its own separate Leaderboard

If the 15 minute shift timer was the deal breaker on getting HS:SB, they now have a no-timer save.

I stand with my fellow PC brethren whom have grown up with the joys of X-Wing, Tie Fighter, and Wing Commander. I hope for a flight sim that will at least equal the nostalgia and have a great single player campaign. With this coming under the EA umbrella, that seems like an astronomical long shot.

All in all, I'll wait for the gameplay reveal. This early, even the $40 price tag is pretty compelling.

About the only thing I can ask for is a 'Show Controls' keybind or something. Or to switch between 2x2 video and Picture-in-Picture. Why I am bringing this up: If you go Picture-in-Picture, F11 for full screen and then hide the controls, there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to bring the controls back up. I literally just checked if clicking in the bottom left corner worked (It did!) but that was a logic leap of 'It was in that corner, maybe if I click?'.

That's how most of my time with New Leaf went. You can spend a ton of hours in Animal Crossing, but it'll be in bits and bobs of time across months and months. Occasionally, a longer session as you chase after something specific.

Doom Rogue-Like

Easily one of my top favorite because it's got all the right sounds that you need and the soundtrack. Also gave me more stress, tension, and bigger highs then playing Doom.

Ryu & Bison // Ken & Chun-Li

It's only Ryu, Ken, Chun-li & Bison so far... but obviously need to tell @vinny & @unastrike.

Saw it over at Polygon and had to share.

Drew's 120+ mile ride starts in under 16 hours, I figure. But there's plenty of time left to donate and I thought it would be a good idea to check the forums to see if anyone else had spread the word.

I didn't see one or I wasn't looking in the right place. So, here's one now!

What the new Arena quest section is: A set of 4 quests that require a total of 4 arena victories and KO 20 10+ foes.

1. Win 1 Arena Battle - Rewards a Dueling Swords
2. Win 2 Arena Battle - Rewards 100 Feathers
3. Win 4 Arena Battle - Rewards 100 Feathers
4. KO 20 Level 10+ foes - Rewards 1 Orb

With a Arena season taking 7 days, this yields another 1400 feathers and 7 orbs. I'm guessing that this is a fairly significant boost to feathers for quite a few people, especially if you can't get a Bonus Hero in your Arena team. Probably halves the time it'll take to get a bundle of 20K feathers.
