Have you thought about a mirrorless interchangable lens camera? You can probably find something like a Sony Nex-3, or Olympus E-PM1 within your budget if you shop around or pick one up second hand. The larger sensors in these cameras will mean the image quality will blow those compacts out the water.

Didn't register my pre-order till august so don't expect to get in till later in the week. Suits me fine though as it gives me time to play the bf3 dlc.

I kinda assumed that the servers auto-balanced on the Skill Level statistic on your battlelog?

My only real gripe with spawning is when you are about to spawn but your team loses the conquest point or your squad mate dies and you end up at deployment. This is worst when playing US Canals and as you spawn someone has just left with the last boat and you have to wait for one to pop again.

I've also lost count of the number of times I've spawned and been insta killed by a mortar on Seine. I try not to spawn at B for this reason!

USAS-12 with frag rounds is incredibly fun to play with although you probably want to run as support as you run out of ammo really quickly.

Just been playing a bit with the Saiga 12k and flanking around on Grand Bazaar when they are all holed up at B is so much fun. I've not had a chance to unlock frag or slug rounds yet but will be working on that later.

I believe up close the tac light effect will still be the same even outdoors; it will just scale down with distance now.
