Mine just shipped like an hour ago from New Castle, DE. It has to get to Pittsburgh by later tonight. If I don't get it tomorrow I will..... be kind of bummed. Woof.

I'd believe the preorder numbers are in fact abysmal considering I was able to pre-order a Day One Edition XB1 from Best Buy as recently as yesterday. I feel like the launch day PS4s have been sold out everywhere for months despite all indications that they are shipping a much higher quantity of machines. I guess I'm buying both of these things at launch now because I am a maniac and really just want to play Forza 5 despite liking the PS4 overall a lot more. I... I think I might still cancel my preorder, though.

I'm finishing up SR3 on the PS3 now (thanks PS+) and once I'm done with GTAV I'd imagine I'll give SR4 a rip on the PS3 as well once it's cheap for continuity's sake.

speaking of, did anyone else get charged for their special edition from amazon yet? I just had an $83.74 charge come out of my account that is pending and I'm guessing that's what it is.

I sorta wish they could do gaming and tech content again. If I had access to a failed cable channel I'd try to do some sort of licensing deals with TWiT, VOX Media, Revision3, CBSi, etc. and just put together a 24 gaming/tech network out of existing web video content with a few carefully placed syndicated shows in-between. Cut it up for commercials and you have high quality low cost content that already has a built in audience. Then you could just have a crew to do stuff from events like E3, CES, Apple pressers, etc. That's the kind of channel I would leave on in the background all the time. Just like I did when TechTV was around. (obviously this isn't profitable enough, since it's already failed once. so please disregard this whole post.)
