Some thoughts about the new design:

- Took me a couple of seconds to find the search. I use it a lot to find shows and specific videos, but it is also important for the wiki functionality. Now it's behind a click and it's placement isn't apparent at a quick glance.

- I'm not personally a fan of carousels and they are generally thought to have low conversion rate for content that's behind the carousel controls. I would prefer to have everything in a grid. Could my choice of having videos listed in a grid be persistent throughout the site?

- When listing videos in a grid, the pagination is a bit against conventions. Usually content is paginated with newest content being on page 1, but now content is listed in chronological order with newest last. Is this a conscious choice? I found it to be a bit confusing.

Quite many just bring out the budget part as being a definition of a B game. I'd go a bit farther and say that a B game is a game where ambitions don't match with the budget OR/AND skills of the development team. The latter may be seen as wonky animation, glitchy hitboxes or apparent flaws in overall design of the game that are not necessarily a result from budget constraints. For example Katamari isn't a B game because it doesn't strive to be more than it is. It's reasonably budgeted for what it is.

Here's a quick recap of this week's Double Agents:

Loading Video...

The thing is, killing the target is the easiest part of the mission. Not being seen and killed after doing so is the hard part. I think Dan made better effort in looking at his options whereas Brad just ran in circles inable to make up his mind about anything. If just killing the target is enough to win in this feature, nothing would stop Dan and Brad from just running next to the target and handing them a proximity mine while getting shot by guards. But hey, the target gets killed!

Too bad Dan panicked when he was trespassing. If he had just followed the guard's instructions to follow them, he would've been fine and maybe succeeded in the end. His run was definitely more eventful and clearly more elaborate than "let's shoot this guy in the head next to 100 people".

AFAIK, this game was never released and should be considered vaporware. Was most likely "in development" just for Tim Langdell to show that his Edge studio was active when he was using the company's name to blackmail companies like EA for the use in games like Mirror's Edge.

Lots of my favorite PSP games have already been mentioned, but Half-Minute Hero is yet to be mentioned. One of the funniest games I've played.
