First time I've ever disliked the beastcast was the phone talk. Just absolute death. Feels like the kind of convo people had 10 years ago. I can't believe it went on as long as it did too.
Yo @alex when I played ME2 the first time, I lost Tali the exact same way.
I played through the ENTIRE GAME AGAIN to ensure I could erase that from history. There was no god damn fucking way my Tali was getting got in my playthrough.
Totally worth it because I'd go as far to say that ME3 is not worth playing without her. Or at least massive storylines can't conclude in their most satisfying way for the story and characters. Same with Mordin! Those characters story arcs are the end of ME3, less so the actual ending everyone gets upset about.
So I say yay sir, reload that save or do whatever you have to to bring our quarian back.
@vinny and @alex I just want you to know that all the hard work you do on your Ghostbusters references does not go unnoticed... by me.... I'm one of the five!!
I say do arrival post credits, i think it makes more sense for the narrative. Its a mass effect 2.5 to me, it has little to do with ME2 and more to do with ME3 (even if only slightly to explain where things are at at the top of ME3) But thats just me.
I would also suggest just finishing off recruitment missions before doing loyalty missions, just so you get everyone on board and get as much time with them to go through dialogue options as you can and get a few missions with everyone under your belt to see who's your fav and who's good at what. Eventually you start getting a sense of who you should bring on a mission - ie. a mission to go check out geth, bring someone with tech powers to use overload and other anti-robot powers... a mission against collectors, maybe a bit more biotic focused. Anyway, keep it going this is great.
