My husband and I's response to a lot of the the stuff the kids did were "Where are their parents" and when they would finally show up we'd exclaim "Parents of the year are finally checking in on their kids after 3 days of letting them do whatever the heck they want" We really enjoyed the show, but I would have liked to see the kids get around the obstacle of their parents rather than have the parents just kind of disappear when it was convenient for the show's plot. I know the plot was in the early 80's where parents were probably a little more lenient with their children, but it seemed like their kids would be gone for hours and hours and hours with no adults concerned about their where abouts? And boys couldn't sleep in the sister's room, but Jonathan stayed there all night and no one noticed? And the parents didn't notice a little girl staying in their basement? Like I said, Parents of the Year.

Otherwise, we LOVED this show. We watched a few episodes every night after work and we couldn't get enough. It was fabulous and always kept me on the edge of my seat! Just the right combination of creepy and suspenseful!
