@KaosAngel: What games were you even expecting? It's only been 1 week into this 2 week sale, and there has been a lot of big marque titles from the past two years.
" Flatout games any good? Also, any chance Plants Vs. Zombies is going to be cheaper? "
I bought Flatout Ultimate Carnage, and even though there are some cool aspects to it, such as destructible environments, I think the game isn't that fun, especially when compared to other games that it's trying to be like (ie Burnout). I feel like this game is a more modernized Destruction Derby (the old ps1 game), and I never really liked Destruction Derby that much either.
Each stage has different time manipulation and it's up to you to figure out how to take advantage of the time manipulation so that you can solve the puzzles
" Picked up... -Puzzle Quest -Defense Grid -The Polynomial I already have the Witcher and Bioshock 2, don't want Burnout Paradise because there's no controller support, and I'm not a Resident Evil fan. I also have money on the Call of Duty series not going on sale. Way to be a team player Activision. "
I own Burnout Paradise from last year's Steam end of year sale, and it has full support with my Xbox 360 controller.
I think they are both jerks, but Joe obviously had an agenda when he made his video. He criticizes Geoff for not being professional, well how professional are you looking Joe? Joe is completely unprepared for his own interview, answering Geoff's flame-bate questions also makes him look more amateur, the fact that he's even making this video to clearly steer the viewers toward his direction isn't exactly "unbiased journalism" either. And "I am your champion"? Really? Joe, just go back to entertaining your little fan base and leave the interviews and real critiquing to pros like Giant Bomb.
You seriously think they will even have a JRPG category? Seriously? They wont. This is how they did last year. Joke categories (ie. best big ass ramp). Best 2009 game of 2010 (which they already said is Borderlands). Best game for each platform (PC/ps3/360/wii/downloadable) Then overall game of the year. And then their personal top 10. There is no genres, and if there were genres, you really think they would talk about jRPGs? When was the last time they were hyped up about a jRPG? FF 13?
