Purchased my Sony Playstation2 in the middle of 2001. Two games that intrigued me were From Software's 'The Adventures of Cookie and Cream', and Konami's 'Zone of the Enders'. Was very reluctant since I still enjoyed playing my Sega Dreamcast at the time. Eventually finding a few gems later on in it's life-cycle. Later installing Playstation2 modem for online games which were modestly enjoyable.
Not going to include any compilations but will include various of imports that are playable without the understanding of Nihongo. Honorable Mention: Shining force: Neo, Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia, Bujingai: The Forsaken City, Rule of Rose, Super Bust-A-Move 2, Devil Kings, Rogue Galaxy, Bloody Roar 4, Lupin the 3rd: Treasure of the Sorcerer King, Eternal Ring.
