Steamboat

Regarding both the first game and this, I've seen a lot of praise for the visuals, character design and world... but I never really understood why it got this praise. In my eyes it seems really busy and too colorful/saturated with a wildly varying amount of colors that contradict each other and the tone of the game. It has a similar problem to Battleborn, although not quite as bad. Very all over the place designs, with sci fi and fantasy stylings mixed together pretty poorly with different factions/races standing out against each other and amongst settings (which are in a way dedicated solely to one faction most times) that mesh with nothing, not even their skyboxes or backgrounds. I hate it! I really do. It's so damn ugly. It's a very maximalist thing, like they threw multiple designers work together of which they had vast amounts

I just want to hear some direct thoughts on the way the game looks. Do you like it, does it work well in your perspective or is it

@kirillorlov: Good call, they have some screen test video for the show, but there's a comment saying the actual show was blocked due to copyright... bummer

Why the FUCK are people fine with them having DLC announced ages before the game's even released!? FUCKING games these days FUCK. FUCK off EA. DLC needs to die.
