In response to the fun police in here, hey. Chill. My name just so happens to rhyme with a popular anti-depressant med and it became my nickname all through highschool on account of my... disposition, at the time. And I think that's funny as hell. Names are funny. People with funny names know their names are funny and are not usually butthurt about it. Oh, and fun fact, I ended up taking my titular anti-depressant for a while and it did actually have a positive benefit for me. So there.
Hey fun facts about donating your corpse for organ donation or research: I went through the whole paperwork (there's not much, it's like one form) to set this up several years ago and learned some interesting things. First, it's not a half and half kinda thing; you either donate whole corpse for research or you be an organ donor, one or the other. You may be able to set it up like, I want to be an organ donor if possible but if circumstances prevent that then I'll go the cadaver route, I'm not sure.
Anyway, I chose the organ donation route. You can actually select which organs you want to donate specifically if you like. Alternately you can just say take whatever is needed.
It says "DONOR" with a heart next to it on my driver's license now. I thought that was pretty neat.
