23. I've been here since the beginning so I've been watching/listening to GB folks for a little more than a third of my life. Weird.

@jasonr86: I generally wait for the end of the event to see which runs had something cringy or generally shitty to avoid.

Pretty much started doing that after the Crono Trigger run years ago which was fantastic up until they started the Flea fight and made a really gross joke using a play-on-words of a slur.

Also ran into a run last year where the runner and people on the couch (all white) joked about how they couldn't say their usual offensive things, pretty much overtly referring to using the N-word. That was reeeeeaaaal awkward.

I like it because I'm a lesbian and we don't get much media representing us. A lot of people don't like it because it shows people like me being kinda normal and that's boring. There ya go mah bud.

Dude what was up with those translators? Specifically the one during the presentations. The Suda51 section had me cringing and then the translator cracked up at something a few minutes later. Good lord.

@boozak: I think the grounded part is what I like. It shows humans in this developmental period between the massive wars that ravaged the planet and the altruistic space socialists 300-400 years later. Of course they're going to still be torturing people and grappling with the darker parts of humanity they haven't quite gotten rid of yet.

And yeah! Super excited for Discovery as long as they go back to episodes focusing on ethics and philosophical dilemmas and less on big wars.

I don't know if this counts but Star Trek Enterprise was the first Star Trek I watched (watched it with my dad when I was younger) and it got my dad and I to basically sit down together every night for the entirety of my time in high school and watch every series of Star Trek after it got cancelled. Going back to it now, I still have a soft spot for it even though Next Generation was the series that really captivated me.

Enterprise seems like the series every Trekkie wants to forget.

Played through the majority of the game in its DLC on PS4. Ran great but there are some weird bugs in it that I don't remember being in the previous gen versions. Nothing game breaking, though.
