I was like you, OP, even a few years ago before I installed Steam. I'd play one game at a time and wouldn't buy anything new til I finished it. Now this largely a budgetary constraint..spending $60 means I need to get value out of the purchase, and that's to see the credits screen after X amount of hours. With Steam that value is not there. I'll spend $5 on Borderlands 2 and play it til I get bored. I have about 20 games on Steam currently (peanuts to some of you folks, but that's a lot of games for me) and I've finished one of them. Looking at my library now there's really nothing that, as you say, scratches that itch, and may never do so. It's the burden of too much choice, man!

Normal mode in DA is way too easy, and Hard is too difficult for me. Have yet to find a balance w/ this franchise, but I'd still very much like to play Inquisition.

Positive thoughts, friends and neighbors. I wouldn't mind seeing some secondary or tertiary characters. Someone mentioned the Greyjoys - give me some Balon. What I wouldn't be interested in is shoehorned Eddard, Tywin, Cersei, or Tyrion. Parallel story-line to the books would be way cool, fan service would not be.

Just finished BirdBox by Josh Malerman - pretty good post-apoc horror tale w/ an interesting twist. Currently reading the first book in The Southern Reach trilogy. Very much looking forward to Revival by Stephen King. Sounds like a proper return to horror from him.

@privodotmenit: CoD's an easy target, so there's going to be a reaction to a supposedly emotional moment done so ham-handedly. I don't think it's a big deal at all, just another sign of how dumb and ADD-afflicted developers think their audience is.
