I've had the attitude for many years that since my body wasn't where I wanted it to be (since I was over weight) that I didn't even want to bother with improving my fashion. But recently I've gotten healthier and lost some weight. And even though I still need to knock off about twenty to thirty pounds to be as lean as I really want to be, I feel that I really want to improve the clothes I wear. At best right now, I will wear jeans and a button up shirt.
But I'm looking to improve this. I have some ideas of what I want to do, but here's my problem. My friends dress like complete slackers. Cargo pants and t-shirts are the best they will do. One girl who I have become pretty good friends with will, without fail, wear the same Star Wars shirt every time we go drinking.
I want to improve myself and my standards. I believe this will improve my well-being and confidence even more. But how does one deal with a drastic change in how one presents himself? Not only is there the change, but there is the fact that I would be overdressing my friends. I have already experienced this in a small way just by wearing clean and pressed pants and a shirt with a collar, while others are wearing khakis with holes in them.
Just something I've been thinking about and wanted to throw out there. I don't know. I'm drinking again.
Who cares how your friends look, it's how you feel in your own clothes.
Shop simple, you don't need to wear pressed pants and a collared shirt to look good. A nice new pair of jeans that fit with a plain snugger t-shirt looks great. I'd recommend going to a J.Crew or Banana Republic and just browsing. Nice clothes are expensive, slowly rebuild your wardrobe.
An ex of mine said to me a handful of times that I'd look good in J Crew clothes (I was tall and skinny, put on some weight since then) but it stood out to me.
@subject2change: You do realize that the keys generated from a humble bundle are one-time use, right. There's no "sharing" possible. Just a generous person giving away some games that have already been donated and paid for.
And sure, you can do whatever you want, but if that includes judging random people for doing nothing wrong maybe you could use some "re-evaluation" yourself.
If you want to be giving, donate another 5 bucks, get a second set and give those out.
And what if you do want to be giving, but your job hardly affords you money left over to eat after rent and bills let alone money to buy a game, but someone else who has donated is generous enough to give one to someone who couldn't donate in the first place?
Being a dick about people donating to charity is coming from a good place I guess, but buddy, you're still being a dick.
Wait til the Humble Bundle is no longer offering this deal? Not that hard.
Yes I know I came off as a dick, but it's annoying to see money being taken away from these charities or the HumbleBundle folk cause people can't wait 2 weeks to give away their keys. Again it's not even 5 bucks; skip fast food for a day, skip getting a coffee, skip that pack of cigs. Not that hard. Just seems silly to me.

Yes I know what I wrote, however this is for charity. If people would stop giving out their spare keys, more people would be donating to get their own keys. If you want to be giving, donate another 5 bucks, get a second set and give those out. You can also hold onto these keys and share them at a later time, maybe when this humble bundle goes away.
Don't share Humble Bundle keys, it's for charity. If you can't spend the ~$5 minimum then you are doing something wrong with your life and should re-evaluate it.
How about not telling people what to do.
I can do whatever I want, just like you cheap bastards can share keys from the cheapest charity donation ever.

I also played it for the first time in the last month or so, and I didn't think it was anything special. The story was way better than anything in Bioshock 2, but the gameplay was still very tedious, especially since I played it immediately after finishing the main game.
@subject2change: It is out on PC. You just buy it through the downloadable content link in the main menu for Bioshock 2. It's an unfortunate consequence of the game being a Games for Windows Live release.
Oh wow, I remember reading back in the day they didn't plan on doing a PC release. That's a game changer. Sweet thanks!
Wish they would of released it on PC, but I have had it on my list of things to play. Being I got BioShock 2 free on PS+ I might as well pick up this DLC. You have sold me on it!
