Considering the price of the memory cards, $200 is still WAY too high right now.

It's only the price of 32GB that are insane, but you can use the content manager to quickly move stuff from your Vita to your Computer/PS3 to free up space. I have probably 12-15 Vita games, 2 PSP and 5 PS1 games on my 32GB Card right now and I move things off when I beat them or have no intention of playing them anytime soon when I just got something new.

My Vita was probably one of my best recent gaming purchases. I purchased a used Vita on eBay for $150 Shipped, it included a Wifi/3G Vita in mint condition, 8GB Card, Lumines, Rayman, Charger/USB Cord and Travel Bag. I sold my 8GB card after a week and upgraded to a 32GB. I commute daily to work and often am too lazy to sit down and play my PS3/PC, so this way I get to play a good 2 hours of games daily, often will play at work as well.

If you check out my "Lists" you'll see for games played in 2013 the majority has been Vita games. I am treating my Vita as a mostly a digital handheld and due to PS+ have not spent much on digital games. The Vita has also sucked me back into JRPGs (I have dumped 18 hours into Persona 3 Portable in 5 work days, and as someone who doesn't game that much anymore that's quite a bit of time for me).

I love my Vita and am pleased to be playing through some old favorite PS1 games, some PSP titles I missed (I sold my PSP when I got my Vita) and some new games.

Probably just finally patching it. Silencers were needed for the M4 and P2000 (USP).

Have there been any games announced with local coop? I cancelled my second controller pre-order, because why spend 60 bucks for a controller that is not going to be used for a while.

If someone is going to reject you for your hobby then they probably aren't a person you want to date anyway.

Yup, that's pretty much all there is to it. I mean, as with anything else you don't linger on it if they're not interested in it, but they're not worth the time of day if they're actively dismissive because of something you enjoy. If it's going to upset them that I'm into games, we're probably not going to get along very well in the first place.

I mean, it's kind of the shotgun approach when meeting someone anyways of, "I'm into music, games, cycling, racing, computers, etc, etc", and trying to find some common interests. There should never be a fear of bringing up one of your interests, but when someone pretty clearly isn't interested in cars/racing you don't repeatedly bring up Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel and try to make them interested. If it's the only thing you ever talk about that's one thing, but if saying it in passing was going to evoke such a intensely negative or dismissive reaction, why would you want anything to do with them?

Yup. Absolutely. However some people may have hangups to people with certain hobbies, like say their ex was addicted to WoW and that's what lead to them breaking up. Not wanting to deal with someone or that situation like that again

As long as you aren't geeking out by yourself about your 2000 game collection, it's not a big deal.

My first date with my GF of 2 years we talked briefly about playing WoW, War3 and such. If someone is going to reject you for your hobby then they probably aren't a person you want to date anyway.

Go on eBay and look up your PS3 Model # and Disc Drive. How sony does the Refurbs is they send you the same model or a better model; so if they sent you an 80GB you probably have the MGS4 Bundle or the one that came after that, which had no BC.

You can find the different SKUS here; http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/SKU_Models

Replacement Laser shouldn't be that expensive on eBay.

My model number is the same as my original 60GB PS3, the disc drive in the refurbished model they sent back looks nothing like the 60GB disc drive. It looks more like the disc drive replacement for every fat model after the 60Gb launch model. I still have my four USB slots in the front and I still have the media reader hidden behind the flap in the front. If I hadn't had opened up the console I would have assumed everything was for the original 60GB model, but the disc drive has the system board inside the dive itself, where the original drive was placed just outside of the drive in plain view. I've thought about just replacing the laser, but the more I think about it the more I want to get the entire drive...besides the system board.

There was an 80GB Model that had 4 Ports, it's the MGS4 Bundle version as well as the Motorstorm Bundle. The difference between it and the 60GB Launch was that it was Software emulation for PS2 vs hardware based.

If you know you are on a 60GB Launch model, get the drive for that. It could of been sony running out of drives for the 60 or they messed up; heck it could be why it failed so quickly.

Not that I'm not trying to take your advice, it's just that those two drives, the 60GB and the every other model after the 60GB model, look different. The 60GB model drive has both the grey and black cable and a small ribbon cable on the left side, while mine has the grey and black cable on the left side but the small ribbon cable on the right, while I also think the size of the ribbon cables are different sizes but it's hard to tell from pictures. If I buy the 60GB disc drive then I'll more than likely not be able to hook it up properly since the ribbon cables are at different ends.

What I think Sony did was take a launch 60GB model, and yes mine is a CECHA01, and married it with a KEM-410ACA drive, which were the drives placed in every fat PS3 after the 60GB model; or they could have simply put in a 80GB model with the shell of the original 60GB case, and possibly added the media reader (not sure if the 80GB had the media reader).

I'm going to go ahead and get the KEM-410ACA drive and call it a day.

Yeah the 80GB with BC had a Card Reader. Go with that drive and see what happens, honestly it should be fine.
