Early 80s hip hop and early 90s gangster rap.

Also, anything by Hella on vinyl you can find, you should get. And if you don't know who Hella is... well, I clearly haven't posted in a music thread on this site in a while :p

@jerseyscum: Toronto, the Province of Ontario, and the Canadian federal government love to line up the tax breaks for film studios. This is nothing new. Gotta wonder who's gonna bother watching a PG-13 rated Robocop movie.

My go-tos would be Super Metroid, Link to the Past, Yoshi's Island, Kirby Super Star, Uniracers, Tetris Attack, and The Lost Vikings. That list right there is over 150 hours of entertainment. Plus, the skill ceiling on Uniracers is like super-duper-high.

The idea's neat and all, but I've got a laptop with HDMI and VGA ports, so that basically does the same job. Having said that, I'm 100% in favour of anything that helps Giant Bomb grow and become more successful. (Someone's gotta pay Max's college tuition!)

Why would you want to buy an environmentally-unfriendly car that's also more expensive to own, operate, and dispose of? Seems like lose-lose to me.

Anyone else browse the forums only to check the thread when new responses show up in hopes one will say "It's here!" What I'm trying to say is that I need my fix.

You have no idea.

@AlexW00d It's not about laziness it's about saving space so the whole headline can be read.

Also, I think this is more a sign that the doctors have become fabulously wealthy and would like to spend their time pursuing their passions.

And maybe EA's co-opting of the term Iinfinity Engine" was somehow related.

I spent a hell of a lot of time with KI for the SNES when I was a kid. Something about mashing the buttons and getting 8-11 hit combos was just so awesome. Patrick's right though, gotta feel that it's best to let sleeping Sabrewulves lie.

No mention of Tetrisphere or Blast Corps? I guess no one really rates Blast Corps low…

As for Tetrisphere, I understand why they had to use the Tetris brand — after all I'm pretty sure my stepmom bought it for my dad because he was into Tetris for the GameBoy — but I don't think the name does it justice. There is so much variety and inventiveness packed into the seemingly bland concept of Tetris, but on a spherical field that the name really sells the game short. It's like… imagine if Super Mario Galaxy was called Super Mario Sphere.

And I would definitely say DK64 belongs in the top 5, maybe even medal contention for most underrated N64 platformer, but am I only saying that because you can play Jetpac and the original Donley Kong? I'm not sure myself. There's also a craptonne of variety in there too, and some of those boss fights were pretty cool.

Another thought: the notion of consumer "rights" where goods produced by others are concerned, "rights" which can override the terms by which the producer sells their goods is no different from the notion of "slaveholder rights". You do not have the right to dictate the terms by which other people produce goods. Just because you get more positive play in the media than slaveholders do does not mean you're in the right.

Yes that's an extreme example, but none of you consumerists seem to even have a modicum of sense about the immense innovation, risk, and endeavour that goes into producing the values you all so thoughtlessly consume.
