As we all know, Deadly Electric has been out for a couple weeks now, and it's got your standard ridiculousness, and forlorn love songs. For some reason, I find myself addicted to War Without a World. I don't know what it is about that song, but I can't stop listening to it.

I already know I'm totally fucking insane, but is anyone else as hooked by this song as me?

Edit: I'm putting it on twice in a row again... what the hell is wrong with me?!

Have you ever heard the name Nazem Kadri?

Well, Habs and Leafs fans shouldn't hate eachother. There's something rotten that sits in between them, and it's horrid and dank and gross and awful, and its colour scheme is black red, white, and gold.

@vinsanity09: I've been not-so-jokingly accused of that before, but I've actually been a fan of the Sharks since NHL '97 for the PC. (I used the Leafs in NHL '97 for the SNES though, those two games are actually completely different. The former is 3D the latter is 2D.)

This is a big trade, to be sure; I was playing shinny today, and some people were kind of overwhelmed, most were happily surprised. But Jean-Sebastien Giguere ain't who he was half a decade ago.

I'm still a Sharks' fan, by the way, and this does nothing to change that.

(Bear in mind I live in Toronto, folks.)

@jams: Sustaining your life through creative endeavour through is the highest form of art, not the lowest. And if you can do it on an industrial scale, more power to you. However, you're right about my knee-jerk reaction. It was wrong for me to tell SolemnOaf to 'blow it out his ass'. That was uncalled-for and I apologize to him for that.

No, the minority is always right, no matter what. They're persecuted and treated unfairly. There is no such thing as culture and tradition. You must bend to the wills of the few for the sake of fairness. I mean, you wouldn't want to be a fascist pig scumbag HitlerStalin 2.0, would you? "
Holy fucking christ you circle-jerk of trolls. Not once did I invoke Godwin's law, not once did I compare Switzerland's actions to Nazi Germany. Yet somehow you think you can bait me into doing so by sarcastically doing it yourself? I'm merely illustrating the hypocrisy of the country's electorate.

" I personally hope GiantBomb starts banning these kind of political posts.  If I wanted to see posts with such political bluster I would go to a thousand other sites and blogs.  I come to GiantBomb for games, to rest my mind and get a way from the weighty matters of the world.  "
As I said last time someone bitched about a non-video-game topic being raised in OFF-TOPIC, we already have a suggestion thread. You can post your ludicrous nonsense there if you want.

Their culture was one of political neutrality before, that has changed drastically, and this referendum result is but one symptom.

No, the majority of people voted. The majority of a group is not the same as the whole group. As I said earlier. If I can get a large number of people to be willing to bulldoze your house, the fact that I have a large number backing me up is not worth more than the fact that you own your house.
