My favorite games

Welcome to my list! The following are the best and/or the most memorable games I ever played.

I originally put just ten, but hey, why not? The more the merrier, right?

You should just think anything beyond the 10 mark are just honorable mentions.

The order is constantly in flux, so forgive me for my wavering opinion as time goes by.

List items

  • The only game I almost S-ranked. Great characters, funny dialogue, fun combat, great story, and some addicting bonus stuff.

  • No matter how much controversy surrounds this game, and despite the fact that I guessed most the plot twists before they actually happened, this game is absolutely sublime. Its characters, story, presentation, and gameplay will stay with me for a long time to come.

  • This game is perfect. Amazing characters, great visuals, smart puzzles, witty dialogue, lots of easter-eggs, memorable plot, and just plain fun.

  • The fact that this game is the only really long game I played through more than once is more than enough reason to put it on this list.

  • Brotherhood was a step-up for sure, but Assassin's Creed II was such a surprise and a delight that it stands as one of the most memorable games I ever played.

  • I really liked Oblivion, so it was kind of a no brainer for me to love Skyrim. Little did I know how much I would... except for the spiders and insects.

  • Hotel Dusk is a phenomenal game. The plot was interesting, the characters were incredibly human, and Kyle Hyde is one of the best protagonists I ever met.

  • Go play this game. RIGHT NOW. This game has the best plot and characters in a video game. EVER.

  • Chrono Trigger is, hands down, one of the best RPGs ever. I can't count the number of times I finished it.

  • The game I spend the most time into ever. Simply great.

  • Bully is every reason why I love video games. It should rank higher, but I can't find many good reasons for it to topple games above it.

  • An intriguing plot, fun gameplay, and zany characters--this game is just plain fun.

  • Okay, I never finished this game. Not much interest to, actually. But man, I played the Japanese game when I was twelve years old and it was the coolest thing in the world. Even now, the word "Persona" is still fresh and exciting in my mind.

  • Though I wasn't as blown away by this game like everyone else, the fact that I keep coming back to it speaks to its awesomeness.

  • I played an inane amount of hours into this. Too much, really. The sequel was an improvement, but in retrospect I enjoyed this more.

  • First, it was fun. Then it got frustrating. Then it got fun again. Then it got hard. Then it became both. And I love it.

  • Despite its repetitiveness and other flaws, Final Fantasy X is one of the most memorable games I ever played. It didn't hurt to have a pretty awesome soundtrack too.

  • I played this game so much. Didn't even touch the multiplayer or Forge mode. Granted, it was one of my first 360 games, but it's still deserves to be on my list. It also got me into the Halo franchise as a whole.

  • No game has ever made my heart race like this game did. Exceeded my expectations several-fold.

  • It took me a while (two years) to actually seriously play this game as games like this give me motion sickness, but the ordeal was totally worth it.

  • My brothers and I play unreasonable amounts of this game. They got pretty pissed when I accidentally deleted the save file (we got all the trophies, characters, and other bonuses).

  • No explanation needed. It should rank higher, but I barely remember it. All I know is that it was really unique, challenging, and fun.
