Superbagman: Best of 2010

  • Sure, it's a boring pick for number one, simply because EVERYONE is going to pick it, but come on. Seriously. It was/is simply one of the best gaming experiences that I've ever had.

  • After I finished Alan Wake I could not stop thinking about it. The story worked it's way into my brain like few other games have.

  • Insanely difficult, brutally funny. I've never before had a case of latter-day "Nintendo Thumb" this badly, on a Microsoft console no less!

  • John Marston. That's why. Many have cried foul about this game. "It's just GTA with horses," they say. Fuck them. John Motherfucking Marston is the reason that this game isn't that cliche. Marston is a great character, with a great story arc that simply deserves to be experienced.

  • Contrary to most reviewers, I didn't feel like this was better than Fallout 3, but that didn't prevent me from spending 60 hours on my first play through. Few franchises can suck me in for such long periods of time like Fallout and yet I'm already itching for the inevitable sequel.

  • One of the most unique multiplayer experiences that I've had this year or any other, sure would have been higher if that damn patch was released sooner....

  • The single player campaign was fun, if unsuprising, but where this (and every other Halo game, really) shine is in the fantastic multi. Even if everyone in the world is better than me...

  • Everyone seems to love the new menus and drop-in/out options, but for me, this game ranks just because of the slick new campaign. No longer do I have to search through a globe for a city to win stars, just click on the challenge and play. Easy. Fun.

  • It's Pac-Man...only...only fucking awesome. Er, uh, AWESOMEer.

  • Embarrassing as fuck. But, boy is it ever fun.
