I played it in the beta to get a feel for the units and learn some of the hotkeys but that's about it. Holding off a rush then kicking your opponent's ass is probably one of the most satisfying things in this game.
I thought the story was alright for Shadow Dragon but the lack of support conversations made me not as attached to the characters as the gba games. It was the first fire emblem where i felt fine to let a dude die. I suspect this new one will be the same.
