Damn, just finished and feel kinda dumb that I didn't put that together. Alas, it was a great game and I loved it. It might be absolutely insane but it's actually pretty clever under the surface.

Bravo, good job ND. I guess I'll wait until the patch to play through on Crushing. Still really enjoyed the game despite some combat gripes, the overall experience eclipses them.

Because I never played any scary games before Doom 3. I was 14 when it came out and I've never gone back to any of the earlier horror games (or even played any other horror games besides the ones I mentioned). I'm however interested in playing Eternal Darkness when I have time.

So basically the reasons are age and preference.

Nice article, we did a similar thing on the movie blog I write for (my entry was 'The Thing'). Games that have scared me shitless over the years include Doom 3, FEAR, Resi 4 and Dead Space. I'm not a huge horror gamer but I do enjoy the occasional scare.

I haven't played a MK game since Deadly Alliance (which I did play quite a lot though, and liked) and I've since kinda fallen out of touch with the fighting genre as a whole. But the more I see of this game the more I desperately crave it, I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this demo and, eventually, the full game :D 

Looks really good, and a nice surprise that it's only $6.99, would've thought that $9.99 was the standard for this kind of thing.

I'm on the positive side here, really liked the demo.
