On the PS4 Pro and maaaaaan this game is buggy as hell. I really want to like it since there's legit cool "Star Wars" stuff but the multitude of technical issues plaguing it makes me want to delete it forever. Aside from all the hitching and audio glitches that's been constant, I've gotten stuck on geometry 3 times in the past 5 hours and have just now fallen through the game world which required a soft reset since I couldn't "die".

It's such a shame since without the bugs this could have easily been one of the best Star Wars game out there. I'd advise folks to wait for a patch that fixes these issues before playing the game to avoid the frustration.

Edit: Ugh I fell through the world again at the exact same spot despite the map showing it as an unexplored area seriously fuck the bugs in this game don't play it until there's a patch unless you want the whole experience soured for you.

Using someone’s recent death as a punchline for an unfunny joke is beyond tasteless. Have some fucking class, jeez.

Here for the Yan Can Cook reference.

Ben for your own safety please learn to handle a kitchen knife. I'm sure Jan knows his way with MSG but Ben put waaaayyy too much in the mix. A little bit goes a long way with that stuff.

Looking forward to see what they cook up next!

Would be nice if the site could highlight one of the few times a POC shows up on the couch. Wan Hazmer was a real sport in this segment.

This website sorely needs more Sekiro content.

Sekiro is the culmination of all the learnings from previous games and talent in From Software that has resulted in a super tight and fulfilling game. Personally it's already in my top ten games of all time, and it might even make top five once I finish it!

The game is totally badass ninja fantasy wish fulfilment. If you've ever watched a samurai/ninja sword-fighting scene where sparks fly in a furious flurry of clashing swords until someone slips up and gets stabbed in the throat and you thought to yourself, "man I wish I could do that in a game" then boy is this the game for you!

Realizing that is when this game clicked for me. You really have to get in close to the enemy, trading blows and parries until you break their posture and punish them with a deathblow. The same rules (with few exceptions) apply to both player and non-player. If you can deflect their unblockable attacks, then so can they.

There is a skill check which I feel marks the end of the early game that absolutely forces you to come to terms with this philosophy. I was stuck for some time until I finally "got" what the game wanted me to do and passing that check was far more satisfying for me than any other Souls game. However, and this is the one knock against this game, once you have this philosophy in mind the game's difficulty becomes much "easier" and the remaining challenge comes from the execution.

Alex playing this game has given me the push I needed to finally get started on this series. I’ve finished ME1 and am 30 hours into ME2 now. I’m sad that they moved away from the RPG genre but I’ve warmed up to the mission structure in 2 after some initial apprehension. Anyway as a first timer to the series just wanted to say that I’m absolutely blown away that in 2018 we still have people defending Ashley, a character clearly written in ME1 to mirror the racist and religious soldier stereotype we commonly see in military fiction. I was genuinely interested to see how she would reconcile her traditional beliefs in an age where spacefaring and alien contact is the norm but it didn’t seem like the writers really explored that aspect of her character, which is disappointing. I don’t know if she gets more character development in 3 but so far she hasn’t been fleshed out too much.

I’ve only sporadically seen the Dragon Ball and Z anime back in the day because I was usually doing something else when it aired and I preferred the manga anyway. Having said that, I’m watching Kai along with the poscast now and man there sure is a lot of filler huh. I’ve watched a few episodes further ahead and shit drags on a lot. The Cell saga is my favorite of the bunch but I can’t imagine having the same opinion if I’m basing it off the anime series. I thought Kai was supposed to remove the filler but it seems to creep in a lot more frequently since the Freeza saga. All the best to Jeff and Dan, I hope they stick with it at least to the end of the Cell saga.

Haven't seen this mentioned so I will say that the commentary is much improved and more orderly compared to the last two Nicstravaganzas. Duders were actually talking about the movie this time. Thanks for listening to fan feedback folks, I enjoyed the commentary.
