@2headedninja: 50 hours in myself, i encountered numerous problems/bugs.

Performance problems

Missions bugged out

Crashes to desktop

Server problems

Broken cutscenes

Health bug

Menu settings resetting constantly

Enemies disappearing

I can go on.

Calling this game fine and not broken is just ignorant.

@2headedninja: devs need to stop launching broken games and promise to fix them. They shouldn't get a break.

played about two hours on pc.

I hope it's because of the older build but holy shit this game is badly optimized. I hope it's better at launch.

Gameplay is kind of bland so far, it's allready so repetitive. Fly there, shoot some stuff and interact with an object or hear some dialogue. Go back to fort tarsis and rinse repeat.

Fort tarsis itself couldn't be more boring, it's so devoid of any life. You just have the sense the npc's are put there as props, they just stand there. Also i hope they increase the movement speed while there, it's such a slog to navigate that place. It should be alot snappier to get around.

The javelins themselves are ok i guess, the combat seems a copy paste from ME:A, wich is fine. The ai seems pretty basic and dumb tough, they just soak up your bullets and then fall over and die. The shooting is fine but nothing more. Flying around like iron man looks pretty cool, but combat doesn't seem to take advantage of the mobility of your character.

To me it just feels like a poor man's attempt at a destiny clone. It feels very devoid of any kind of soul or it's own identity. D2 has it's issues, but the core gameplay is so satisfying and fun. Anthem just feels bland in every way to me.

Kind of bummed out actually.

Yea, I thought Dan was being a bit of a dick about this TBH, his whole tone really got by back up.

tbh, typos in menus is probabably one of the easiest things to avoid while making a game

@mems1224: oh please. I'm not deying he said that don't get me wrong. But he's not "fanboying". He just really likes the game and it was a fun experience for him.

Rdr2 is a love or hate it game. He loves it. Maybe don't attack him for it?

Brad's Red Dead apologist and fan boy servicing of Red Dead is so frustrating. Red dead is clearly going to win almost every category it's in because Brad refuses to hear an argument against it and the fact is it is a far from perfect game. I'm writing this about 30 min in so I'm not spoiling anything by saying this because I don't know who won anything yet, but it's beyond aggravating to hear this constant Red Dead worship for a game that is so broken in so many ways.

Also, I think Abby's argument against Tetris Effect has been the only coherent argument about this game as a whole that I have been able to get on board with. It is pretty tetris... that's all it is. Thank you Abby for saying what I've been screaming since this game came out.

So brad really liking the game means he's a fanboy/apologist? Wow...

These comments man, fuck the internet.

Looking forward to this.

Edit: this looks really good actually.

most of the stuff i read about it say otherwise. It's a super cliché android story in a very unimaginitive future. nothing special about it. The game doesn't have its own voice.
