@johnxuandou: Yeah... my thoughts exactly having watched the video. It's obvious they didn't want to like this game from the start (UPF) and neither took the time to at least learn how to play or what's included in the game before this quick look.
It's probably too much to hope they've realized since UPF that this is actually a pretty fun fighter that is super tongue in cheek and while making some changes to fighting conventions and a bit simplistic it is still surprisingly deep.
Not only is Synthetic Life on Spotify it's also on Amazon and iTunes for purchase... The date of release is June 22 2018 so I get the feeling the song creator found out (a little late) about how much everyone was loving the song during E3.
I hate the whole 'it's pixel art and/or a port' therefore it costs nothing to make so I ain't buying it" spiel. I saw a lot of the same kind of whining about Octopath Traveler and Dragon's Crown too. "XBLA pricing" is going to re-kill 2d art games because all but the most popular will be profitable. Looks like we won't be getting any more Fire Pro for years, again...
