  • I thought the first game was great, but Mass Effect 2 took that and made it better, fixing bugs, making combat more enjoyable, and adding a new cast of characters that are both varied and interesting. The last battle, where you can lose anybody based on your decisions or even just bad luck, had me on the edge of my seat, tearing at my hair. A truly epic adventure that you should be playing right now.

  • Fantastic story, immersing atmosphere. Felt like a Stephen King novel come to life. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down.

  • Despite some annoying vocal glitches, this was a incredibly moving and involving game. The controls took some getting used to, but the fact that you couldn't go back and change your actions created a real sense of danger that you could screw up and kill somebody. This sense of tension followed me through the game, even driving me to the point of tears. It's a game I'd love to play again, just to see how different the outcome can be based on certain actions.

  • It might "just" be a sequel, but Super Mario Galaxy 2 is fun to play, and even fun just to watch, sitting and picking up Star Bits with the 2nd controller. Its worlds are varied and colorful, a real visual treat, pushing the Wii to its graphical limits.

  • Addictive as hell, Game Dev Story had me glued to my iPad for the best part of two weeks, mixing up genres to make games that did (and didn't!) sell. It combines all the elements for a fun, engrossing game without being too difficult or complicated.

  • A last minute addition, since I was only convinced to finally give it a go today (I figured it'd be too hard). After dropping my pride and playing on Easy, I can see why everyone loves this game so much. And Bayonetta is hot. :D

  • I have to confess I didn't buy this yet, because $40 is pricey for a handheld title, but I did play the demo, and the original is one of my favorite games ever, so I'm willing to give this one a nod on faith.

  • I'm only about 15 hours into this, having only received it for Xmas, but so far I'm loving it. It's surprisingly deep for a game where most of your party is user-created and exchangeable - obviously, the plot revolves around your main character - but let's fact it, Dragon Quest was never really known for its deep characterization anyway. We're in this for the quest, and the journey is fantastic.

  • A great physics puzzle game, a great time waster.
