Tony Hawk's Pro Skater opened my eyes to skateboarding, and some of the biggest name of the sport. Skate 3 managed to get me to start skateboarding for real! Well... At least trying to skate in real life, but truth be told, most of the time I just fall in real life. And it's not as fun as bailing in the game!

My first experience with a skateboarding-game was with the first Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and I played that game A LOT! It wasn't until Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 that I actually started getting good at skateboarding games. And I can still remember playing THPS2 with my cousin on his Dreamcast, seeing who could get the biggest combo on the school-level.

Used to play this game A LOT with my cousin back in the days. It's just impossible to dislike the over the top-action that this game has to offer! BOOM SHAKALAKA!

I had played some old-school baseball-games like RBI before playing MVP Baseball 2005. But it wasn't until MVP 2005 that I actually started to learn about the rules of the sport, and got hooked! Since baseball isn't a mainstream sport in Sweden, games were the only source for my baseball needs. And I've been hooked ever since. This game was the only reason I bought a Logitech Dual action gamepad since I couldn't stand the keyboard controls for sliding.

The first hockey-game I ever played! And I still feel like the rules for fighting in real life should mimic this game. Winner stays on the ice!

The first game I got for my SNES! And it also happens to be one of my all time favorite boxing-games, even though one could argue if it's actually a "real" boxing-game. As a kid I remember not being able to beat Super Machoman. And truth be told, I haven't tried since then out of fear of getting my ass handed to me by this game once again...
