GAFs moderation was not flawless, but it was still the best around, sure there were false positives and some odd abuses of power - but most of the bans were for some incredibly dumb shit. Call it a safe space, an echo chamber, but GAF created a unique place of discourse that simply does not exist else where. The internet is an increasingly toxic place for discussion, especially the gaming community, GAF was one of the few places that didn't suck.

It will be back, it'd too big and worth too much to fail. I just hope the same strict requirements for sign up and the no bs moderation isn't dropped.

I for one enjoyed the Spike TV awards from a few years back. They were at least enjoyable to watch, despite the cheesiness. Then Angry Joe started his bitching, they changed the formula, and the Spike TV awards lost the spectacle, the budget and the great reveal trailers.

Not bored, but I wouldn't mind more enduarnce runs. The Giant Bomb commentary coupled with playing dumb video games is some of the best entertainment out there, it's something they seem to do less and less of :( (Although Professional Fridays makes up for this some what)

I remember originally skipping the segment, but now having seen the film, I wouldn't mind listening to it.

I've been buying my games digitally on the Xbox One and so far I have no regrets. Being able to switch between games in a matter of seconds is just super convenient and it's also the cheapest way for me to purchase games seeing as new games in New Zealand cost $77USD, verse the $60USD they cost digitally. Unless retail games come down in price, I will probably continue to buy my games digitally for the rest of the generation (and when I get my PS4 some time this year)
