@citizencoffeecake: Thanks for the link! It's a good watch. Not to mention I was not expecting to hear Ryan's voice, a very pleasant surprise! Still miss his input on the site.
ANDROID app for the site!!!! If they had an app for my phone... I would most definitely become a premium member. I simply do not use the internet on a "regular" computer enough to bother, once I leave work, I exclusively access the internet from my phone. It works, but it's just kinda annoying.
There's an unofficial app on the Play Store. Also, subscribers get access to the official mobile site. Add a shortcut to your home screen if you want to launch it like an app.
The mobile site is pretty awful, really. Posting to the forums with it is a pain, and there's no way to edit or flag posts from it.
Yeah. It is rather disappointing for a subscriber-only feature. If the API allowed it, I'd love to try my hand at a creating a better mobile interface for the forums.
So add the thing I just said to the list of desired redesign features as well. The API needs to expose more stuff and add support for making changes.
Alright, so this isn't exactly a swaying argument for the premium only mobile site... I'll keep my credit card in my wallet for now. But I would seriously consider becoming a premium member with a good Android App. I have used the unofficial app, and I'm really thankful for whoever went through the trouble of making it, i have used it many times, but I still would like full site functionality. One can dream!

@Jayzilla: I still have the poster for OGRE BATTLE 64 hanging on my wall from an issue of Nintendo Power. and have purchased this game used... twice... for $60 and $80 from a local video game store. It's prob in my top 3 fav N64 games
Thanks for the replies guys. Your comments make sense. I went to pick up Darksiders anyway (it was only $5!) but turns out Amazon downloads are not available in Canada... boned again by the Canadian internet... a proud part of our heritage! Inferior services at twice the price, welcome to Canada!
I consistently keep getting this "fail" message every time i try and see if I can run a game. It appears from the check list that I'm fine, and from experience I should be. I got this message before from Starcraft II, which I can play no problem...(same with The Witcher [first one, not 2]); this screen shot is from Darksiders (was planning to pick it up for the $5 sale on amazon).
Just wondering why it tells me its a fail and I should upgrade, when I don't think I should have to.
HP EliteBook 8440w is what I'm running (work laptop), all other specs listed in pic.
