1. A Song of Ice and Fire is a pile of crap.

2. Gran Turismo is a hugely over rated series.

3. The Last of Us ain't much cop.

4. The new consoles have an appallingly bad library of games (probably not unpopular, but I'm calling out both consoles on this one)

5. The Dark Knight is the most over rated movie of the past decade.

The last three years have been very underwhelming for me in terms of games. When a zombie game and an FPS are supposed to be two of the year's best so far, it doesn't inspire confidence.

Yes. Although I don't see what the big deal is.

Gran Turismo 5 : I'm not touching this franchise ever again even with a 10 foot pole. Even Microsoft don't show as much arrogance and hubris while showcasing their games. 'Perfection', my $%@.

I'd go further and say either GT HD or GT Prologue. I bought a PS1 and PS2 just to play Gran Turismo games, I don't even own a PS3, 'nuff said.

Well, I got suckered into buying GT4 and GT5: Prologue in anticipation of GT5. Calling me stupid would be kind.

Also, length of game is not and should not be equivalent to cost.

Which is why I mentioned Vanquish and COD4. They are admittedly short, but the experience through the campaign is varied enough in terms of gameplay, environments and setpieces that it feels like a complete game and one you feel like replaying. This adds to the life of the game.

Revengeance has none of these things. I've already finished it twice within 4 days in a few short sessions skipping cutscenes and all codecs the second time around. And that's from someone who never skips cutscenes.

I'll ask again, did you play on higher difficulties?

Yes.

It's insulting that many of my PSN games that cost a quarter of this title last twice or thrice as long. Usually, I have never felt that any of the games I have played (including COD4:MW and Vanquish) have been particularly short because the experience was good and varied enough in them to feel like they were complete games.

Rising is the first title in which I have felt insulted at the shortness of the game. Considering that the story is exceedingly stupid, there is no emotional payoff for replaying the game. The environments are drab and dull and that further reduces the appeal to go through the campaign again. Both of these reasons make me not even want to show off the game to family or friends. Bosses don't take more than one or two tries to figure out their movesets and if S ranking every mission is the only challenge left in the game, then I'm afraid the camera isn't conducive to trying. I don't give a damn about video game achievements anymore so there.

Modern Warfare 2 : What a worthless follow up to the first one. Stupid story, stupid multiplayer maps, stupid killstreaks and cheesy perks/attachments/weapons

Shift 2: Unleashed : I didn't play the first one, but the control scheme for this one has turned me off from this franchise and I have no interest in the new Slightly Mad Studios racer

Star Wars Force Unleashed II : Thankfully, didn't buy it but I have seen the levels and story online and it definitely has destroyed the franchise.

Gran Turismo 5 : I'm not touching this franchise ever again even with a 10 foot pole. Even Microsoft don't show as much arrogance and hubris while showcasing their games. 'Perfection', my $%@.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance : If the length of this game coupled with its stupid plots is going to be the standard for this franchise, then it has effectively ended it for me.

Ryu would wipe the floor with practically every video game character ever ... except for Dante maybe.
